Any word on Leddy? His face got wrecked at the end, I am anticipating he'll be reverting back to his Gopher days with a cage if it was as bad as it looked.

That was a piece of art...across the board...

I wouldn't call our PP a "work of art...across the board" when the only time we can score is with a 2-man advantage. There's still a lot of work to be done on it...

Huge props to the Hawks fans at the game last night for booing Torres. Must be embarrassing to hear that on your home ice.

I heard Haviland has put the weight back on...since not being hired anywhere else and seeing the Hawks success this year

Duh, what's more interesting to the average person?

A hockey game? Or drama filled stories? Wait for the next issue of Soap Opera Weekly, lol.

Hey I get it, there could be fireworks and it will be interesting to see what the Hawks do, but as I stated this morning everything is being pumped up far too much. This game couldn't come close to living up to the hype that Kuc and others (all of CSN basically) in the media set it up to be. It's going to be a good hockey game, but I agree with you PSR, lay off the Torres angle. It's not going to be that big and they are giving far too much attention to that goon.

It might bring TV ratings up but if anyone believes them they are going to end up disappointed.
Please make this a reoccuring thing.

Would have been nice to see the game last night, unfortunately I have a shared dish on top of a tall building that likes to go out whenever there is a foreign molecule in the air.

From last year when they had one 4 5 on 3 all year to 3 so far in 5 chances this year. Yea I'd say it's clicking.

The only reason they are 15th is Q obviously told them not to run up the score last night.

Sure clicking 5 on 3, and I don't disagree. But 5 on 4 they're 1 out the last 25 or more now...

My favorite teams
  1. Portland Timbers
  1. Chicago Blackhawks
Something I have to bring up amidst the drama of "Torres answering the bell."

No, he didn't. Any hockey fan, much less a 'hawks fan worth their salt knows Bollig challenged him and he either turtled or felt his menses running down his leg and tried to adjust his tampon--the camera angle was unclear.

Regardless, cherry picking who you answer the bell to is not answering the bell--if you take a cheapshot against a player to answer the bell against whomever they send against you be it Burish or Keith, Probert or Scott.

Now that that is out of the way that was one fine win. Nice to see the boys at 9-0-2. Getting that 10th win will be tough against Nashville.

You slammed both Kompon and Gauthier - before ever getting here

Q and Stan were labeled "stooges" for bringing in Kompon and letting Haviland go...and Q was hanging himself for the move as well.

Meanwhile, LA's pp continues to suck...so maybe it wasn't the coaching there...but the personnel?

Maybe the team isn't dysfunctional as some think..and Q being able to bring in coaches on the same page of him brings better continuity, if Haviland had a different agenda? If Haviland disagreed with him as you've said in the past...giving mixed messages to players, being "good coach" behind Q's back - it could explain some of the dysfunction...where now everyone is on the same page, tugging the rope in the same direction.

Even the the Hawks are at the middle of the pack...they rolled out regular lines for 2-3pp's yesterday

They had a few 1 min pp's the last few games...which all technically count towards a PP

Their movement in the zone is much improved...as the entries. The mistakes they make on it, seem to be when the outlets/NZ passing is off/at the feet of players - not a coaching issue, but execution.

So...the dysfunction has been removed, IMO from the staff.
