Thank good you posted the video. I thought it was 20 minutes of CW playing with a pocket pus………. Whew 😪
He looks more like Aaron Rodgers to me. Not Patrick Mahomes 🤷🏽

I've had Daniels ahead of Maye since early December. Loads more experience and a better natural thrower of the ball in my opinion. His frame definitely worries me. Bone density specifically.
Daniels was elevated by two NFL level receivers. He was average before that, and that's being generous.

It's nice that he played well and won the Heisman but he did it in a down year for the SEC and he never once beat one of the top teams in the SEC.

He's the guy that rockets up everyone's draft board because he does something flashy not because he's a legitimate NFL prospect.

My observation in Jayden Daniels is exactly the same as what I saw with Justin Fields. They're one in the same.

Parts of this are true and parts of this are flat out false. Daniels was also a monster last season. His trajectory started then. It was very easy to see him getting better and better. He nearly single handedly beat Bama last year as a DBL digit underdog. Took them to OT and then stepped on their necks. He's not some flash in the pan. And he has a metric shit ton of snaps under his belt. Which matter. He's far less a projection then guys like McCarthy, because of the offense Mich runs and Maye, because of his real lack of experience.

Watch Daniels ball placement, platform and release. Regardless of who he did, or will throw to. Its pretty incredible. Mechanically, he's a much more natural thrower then Fields. No elongated windup, no slow hitch.

There's nothing monstrous about 2900 17 touchdowns.

Who honestly has better college tape than Caleb Williams? Even when you can criticize him about his footwork, or his base, he makes some kind of otherworldly throw that's 100% arm talent that just blows you away.

I fully believe the hype. And once he's finally drafted, and officially a Chicago Bear, I'm gonna be so fucking excited for this coming season.

Poles knows he's lightyears ahead of every other QB in talent. This is a done deal.

I'm already preparing my woman for a LOOOOONG spring and summer.... because after April 25th, I'm gonna be walking around with a permanent meat missile!

Well yes these are plays from the pockett which means he didnt have pressure flushing him from the pocket.

Plenty of tape of him getting inside pressure, evading it and then making plays as that is his highlight plays.
Well you know this goes. Those who complain about Williams style of play have to have their catch 22s ready and loaded.

They want to ***** that he plays backyard football out of structure behind a shitty offensive at USC.

Yet when you find film of him playing in structure the same people want to ***** that he isn't being pressured out of structure

If all else fails claim we have a top 10 defense and need to make a deep playoff run, because apparently Fields was going to provide us with that this year.... I swore this place would calm down a bit once he was traded, but the delusion just went even deeper. It's crazy how butthurt some folks are that they will go to extreme lengths to justify their belief in what we let go versus what we are getting. It makes zero sense to me, but to each their own. It's my gut feeling Caleb will be great, and the media narrative and people that buy into all the negative things that have been spewed out there are out of control. Just like everything else in the world. Caleb will be a rookie... a new offense for the whole team to learn... any other year there would be at least some tempering of expectations to a more realistic level. I often wonder if Fields was still here and named the starter what type of excuses would be made about him having to learn yet another offense and how unfair it was to him.

We have no idea how much the Bears will run since we have a new OC.
With Caleb Williams, Keenan, Allen, DJ Moore, two good tight ends, and possibly a wide receiver, drafted in the first round, I don’t need to see a heavy focus on running.

If Walter Payton were on this team, I’d still want to see them throw the ball.

It was the same shit with Fields. That Merry go round amongst fans will never go away so long as the QB has mobility.

Quick delivery, eyes are always looking down field, moving through progressions, natural feel in the pocket.

I'm not a scout, but damn, a lot to like about this film.

If this video doesn't give you hope that the Chicago Bears are about to draft minimally a very good QB then I don't know how to help you. There are plenty of NFL level throws where he hits the WR in stride across the middle or puts the ball where only the WR can make the play. There's also plenty of throws that go to secondary reads and progressions.

There's not a lot left to say about Caleb Williams when you watch 20 minutes of him doing what is necessary to win in the NFL.

Even if you took away his instincts and nack for making shit happen his inate accuracy and snappy release, combined with his vision would be good enough to play in the NFL at a fairly high level.

The thing about Caleb is that he WANTS to be a complete QB that can do anything at any time. His drop from center will look natural in his 1st preseason game and he won't complain about doing things he's not comfortable with. He'll choose to master whatever gets thrown at him.

The reason JF was a good pick was because of his skill set. A GM will buy into those traits and assume the staff can teach him the football part, especially when he's not a dummy which Fields is not. For some reason Fields couldn't adapt to a timing drop or NFL open in zone. You can blame the coaching but I guarantee that wouldn't prevent Caleb from doing the mechanical things acceptably or better.
