What do you think?

Time to plan on our annual pilgrimage to the beautiful City of Da Arch?

One disappointing part of the new schedule is that there's no Saturday games in St. Louis this year so no St. Louis road trip (Unless everyone wants to do the Friday game).

Other choices

Saturday Oct 30 vs Wild

Saturday Nov 13 vs. Preds

Saturday Jan 15 vs. Preds

Saturday Jan 22 vs Wings

We probably wouldn't be able to do a group on this one but I really want to make it out to Toronto for the Saturday Mar 5th game. If I can get a group of tickets for this one would anyone else be interested?

My choices right now are Jan 15 vs Preds or March 5 vs Maple Leafs.

Everyone let me know your thoughts and I'll work on getting a group package together.

I was just posting a road trip thread as you were typing this.

Friday makes it really tough for me to do this trip. Saturday works much better. I'm personally thinking of Toronto or Nashville this year.

I would be interested in Toronto as well!

I would gladly replace St. Louie with a chance to see the Hawks/ Leafs

in Toronto.

I've seen HNIC games in T.O. before, but never with the Hawks on the ice. Would love to do that and might have a realistic shot of making that one -- the Mrs. and I could drop the 16-week old off at grandma and grandpa's on the way to Tronna.

That ruins half the fun of making the trip. Hanging out afterwards. I guess the night before would be ok, but I really don't want to make that drive back right after the game.

As for Toronto, it is going to be very tough to get a lot of tickets to that game. I don't think they sell group tickets.

Yep, I completely get that, was just throwing out ideas and options. I would love to do Torana, but I just feel like the cost would be ridiculous.

you could always do spring break in Florida and catch the Panthers/Hawks game. Fun in the sun and hockey in flip flops

I wouldn't be interested in Toronto. I've already been there and the tickets will cost a fortune. The Hawks and Leafs do play some crazy ass games up there, however. Anyone remember Bolland's incredible game up there in a crazy comeback win back in 2008?

For me, its between Minnesota on Oct 30th (before it gets too cold up there) and Florida on March 8th. You can even catch some spring training baseball in the process.

Maybe I'll do both.

I believe every Maple Leaf game 'till the end of time is sold out, so tickets would be expensive via the secondary market.

Nashville would be easier and WAY cheaper.

If anyone wants to go to the Atlanta game on 11/6 I'll be there and I can show you a great place to watch the games at Philips Arena.

I agree. Good thing is that there's plenty of time to look into both options. Most likely it will end up being Nashville for us just because of ticket availability and price.

I would do any and all central division games. Im interested in Toronto, would consider Florida. Really want to do the western Canada thing, but flights are a killer.

Could be a good reason to take the Empire Builder trip. Could take that out to Seattle and go to Vancouver and then fly back from Seattle. The Empire Builder is supposed to be a beautiful train ride.

It is indeed. Wife and I rode it last summer.
