We need a 3b bad. I would also take Cano for 2b, but we don't have the fan base to support his salary.
I expect Viciedo to get locked up in a few months.

If we could add one impact player via FA or trades (realistically) who would ya pick?
It's hard to say since the Sox have no farm system. A guy that I think would be perfect would be Chase Headley. But I can't see the Sox having enough for him or winning the bidding war.
yeah we wont be able to get anyone becausezzzz of teh farmzzzzzz. go pound sand and worry about your amazing farm that is going to produce multiple titles.
I wasn't bashing the Sox, damn! I mean if you want to trade the prospects that have the best chance of making the MLB, go for it and you may get a player. But for a veteran agng, I don't think that will be smart. The Sox are already an aging team and will be on the decline soon. Not basing the Sox again.
People say that, a lot, but that isn't true at all.
15 people on the team are 30 or under.
rios is a monster that is all
I stuck with Rios since he's been here. The guy is a solid baseball player.
Plenty wanted his ass gone, but they'd be in deep shit already this season if it wasn't for him.
Finances of baseball changed. He wasn't worth $12 million a season two, three years ago, even when he had good years. Now because of the higher and higher prices of contracts out there, $12 million for Rios is a fair contract.
And the other 6 starters that can't hit their weight
