No. I have said that I'd be okay with him coming back as long as the team didn't handcuff themselves to him and were in a position, and clearly willing, to move on after next season if need be. But that is not the case at all, they clearly see Jay as the final answer at the QB position. Which forces me to strongly question their ability to lead this team to a championship.
Giving him yet another season to prove himself, while a bit arbitrary, would have been acceptable, but to look at a player who has a sub par turnover rate, to say the least, constantly makes poor reads, and generally leaves far to many plays on the field and to act as if you couldn't possibly want more out of the most important position in sports, or as if Jay is suddenly going to deliver it, is fucking ridiculous.
