Strike Statsny name from above post and replace with Campbell and go back in the time machine.

Sounds the same to me

because campbell had nothing to do with the hawks cup win in 2010? he was a huge part of it and that contract didnt seem to hamper the hawks any at all thanks to dale needing to hit the cap floor when he was delt. cant tell me brian hasnt helped the florida org either groom their young blueliners. and he certainly didnt damage any of our young ones at the time. guarantee seabrook keith and hammer all learnt from the guy. brian campbells contract was actually invaluable to this team at the time but all people do is look at the money and try to relate it to points ice and ignore the other factors of what a guy brings.

now stastny is obvioulsy no campbell when it comes to teaching younger players or hell probably isnt a campbell as far as overall talent at his respected position but undeniably he adds depth up the middl and its not as if the guy is in his mid thirties..hes still young. injury history is the only thing that makes the deal iffy. did i want him as a hawk? yes. would i want the hawks to pay seven a year? no not with our strenghts on the blueline and on the wings still and in net. blues dont have those same strengths although their blueline still has great potential so for the blues its a good deal.

Fucking Vanek

that deal is too high but he adds scoring depth to a team that needed it. people want to ***** about stastnys deal vanek at 6.5 for three for a winger? way too high for a one way player but again it addresses a need for the wild. suprised they have the cap room though thought they were still stuck with suter and parises contracts.

west is going to be a fun conference yet again.

The Western teams that tried to catch the Kings and Blackhawks will still be behind those two. Colorado will be worse. Minnesota will be the same. Blues, not convinced. Dallas is the only one that might improve.

Why the **** did we waste money on Victor Stalberg 2.0? Regin sucks and should be playing in the AHL. All he has is speed, which is great of you could do anything with it. Rather have given a rookie a shot on the 4th line than have that bender on the ice. Shit, Bollig had a bigger role.
