I didn't expect them to go after any FAs because of the cap, but Regin sucks. For as much as Bollig got shit, Regin isn't much better outside of the speed department, and he can't even use it due to his lack of hockey sense.

As long as the cap hit is okay, this could be a great signing for the team. A skilled center to play with Kane and Saad? Sure, he's no Kesler, but he's not a Handzus or Regin or (insert shitty center here).

If he can replicate 51 points like he did last season, it'll be a great move. He still a great playmaker and pairing him with Kane and Saad will help create a cohesive 2nd line finally.

two mill is good. just worry about his playoff endurance but ill worry about that later still a big upgrade over last years reg season center depth. hes certainly not the old richards but kane could get the best out of him again.</p>

It's like Handzus but better offensively.  You'll see... I watched him play nearly 100 games last year.</p>
