The Bulls will open the playoffs Saturday at the United Center given the Blackhawks are at home Sunday.

Time slot though, I'm unsure of.

I honestly dont' think they care what seed they get. They know they have to play Cleveland eventually.

I do think they care about getting the higher seed. This is the Bulls we are talking about. Losing is not a part of any of the player's mentalities. If it was, we would have been in the lottery the past two seasons like so many Bulls "fans" wanted. :smug:

I've said it quite a bit this year but no team in the East scares me at all in a 7-games series. I still believe when healthy and clicking, the Bulls are the best team and the team to beat. The West is scary as hell and look out because here come the Spurs, AGAIN.

whats the :smug: for?

us tankers were right, the team had zero chance...to make matters worse they played like they were tanking in the playoffs then totally gave up in game 5 putting up one despicable performance only scoring 69 points

the way they played this year should have been what they done last year

It's because you all called it a "wasted" season. Making the playoffs is not a wasted season by any means. And you tankers weren't right. Exactly how did it hurt us by not tanking? We have a better team now then we ever had post MJ-era with the best chance at a title. Rose is back, Butler is an all-star, Pau has resurrected his career on a bench player's salary, and Niko is living up to all the hype. Seems quite the opposite to me.

As for the playoffs last year, I'm really starting to doubt you even watched it at all. Played like they were tanking!? HA! Our leading scorer came off the bench for crying out loud. And that leading scorer was terrible in that series because he had John Wall defending him. They were in every single game with a chance to win at the end. The Wizards had 2 versatile guards who could close out the games. We did not. It was not lack of effort. It was lack of talent. End of story.

Btw, in that "despicable" game 5 performance, they held the Wiz to 75 points. Yea.. 75. They lost by only 6. Boy, they were really throwing that game away.

i watched it and i made the same comment about how it looked like they were tanking then aswell

the team was exhausted after all that regular season warrioring they did and had nothing left....the only reason they didn't get swept was because Nene was suspended and Dunleavy had the game of his life

did it hurt us? No (well maybe Noah's heath) but at the same time we didn't really gain anything either

the point is though you put a :smug: like they proved guys that would have rather tanked wrong...although ive got over it and have told myself we would have got McDermott regardless...if we went back i would still say try for lotto balls

but to dream a little bit...Wiggins and Nikola would have been godly

It should serve as big motivation for them too come out and end the RS with another beatdown.
Hopefully.. Good chance Atlanta isn't playing their key guys tomorrow anyways.

So pretty simple:

Bulls win, they get third seed. Bulls lose and Raptors win, Bulls end up 4th. Both lose, Bulls will keep 3rd.

For 8th seed, Pacers win, they're in, Pacers lose, Brooklyn wins, Brooklyn is in, both lose, Pacers are in.

Bulls vs Hawks
Raptors vs Charlotte
Brooklyn vs Orlando
Pacers @ Memphis

Raptors lost, so I think the 3rd seed is now ours to lose?

EDIT: That is exactly what Scoot said yesterday. herpaderp

I want the Pacers to win the 8th seed, I think they're better equipped of beating atlanta's professional basketball team especially with PG back. The Nets aren't ready to win, especially considering how they shat the bed against us the other night, plus I believe Paul Pierce's comments regarding DWill

Nets will be swept.

Pacers play a tough team tonight. Brooklyn plays an easy team.

Everyone on the Nets, with the exception of Jarrett Jack, who I love as a player, played like they'd rather be on vacation than in the playoffs. I fully expect them to lose tonight even though it's against the Magic. But I also don't see the Pacers beating the Griz in Memphis, considering what Memphis is playing for. That's going to be a hell of a game though.
