KC Johnson says the magic # is 1.

Washington would hold the conference record tiebreaker if the Bulls lost out and Wizards won out.

Interesting. Listening to the game on the radio Saturday, Swirksy said they clinched right as the buzzer went to zero. Guess he was wrong.

Simple mistake really. I thought that too at first but then realized that wouldn't be the case.

Yeah he's right.

It would come down to conference if they tied, which WAS wins.

I'm sure we'll find a way to give ourselves the hardest playoff path...

Playoff scenarios

Pretty simple for the Bulls... Toronto loses one, Bulls win one, Bulls will win the #3 seed. If they tie, Toronto will win the tiebreaker.

The Pacers will get in with two wins or a win and a Brooklyn loss.

In the West, I don't know how to make out the mess that is seeds 2,3,5 and 6.

I don't see Toronto losing a game with the Celts clinching the 7th seed and then Charlotte, so the Bulls most likely will play Washing as the 4th seed. :dunno: Bulls last game against ATL is interesting as we will see them in the 2nd round if we do finish with the 4th seed.

Atlanta is probably gonna rest everyone so I doubt it'll be all that interesting. Unless you're interested in the Atlanta bench talent.

Celtics haven't clinched the 7th yet. They have everything to still play for.

If the Bulls are going to get the 3rd seed, its going to be tonight.

I suppose Boston could be playing to win, to keep the 7th seed?

I just wish the Raptors were playing the Pacers.

I meant what the Bulls do, not ATL. I'm still not sure the Bulls really want the 3rd seed. I guess we'll see how they play.

Ah, you may be right. They may be going the "avoid Cleveland" route. I suppose I wouldn't mind smashing Washington with everyone healthy...

I honestly dont' think they care what seed they get. They know they have to play Cleveland eventually.

I'm pretty sure some idiot on ESPN said that, but I guess that's better for the Bulls then if they play Toronto better. Like I said tho, I'm starting to wonder if the Bulls are better off playing Wash rather than the Bucks. Don't know, I'm going back and forth on this.
