"I do get jealous, I'm not gonna lie," he revealed. "I get jealous sometimes when I look over at KD and he's like 16-for-32 and then 14-for-34.""You give me 37 shots in a game, I'll have 60, 70," James said. "If I get 37 shots in a game, I'm going to put up 60. Easy."...Game 1= 44pts on 38 SHOTS...Game 2= 39pts on 35 SHOTS...Game 3= 40pts on 34 SHOTS...Game 4= 20pts on 22 SHOTS...Game 5= 40pts on 34 SHOTS...Game 6= 32pts on 33 SHOTS

So much for is 60 or 70 points.

Is that bad? Is there a reason he shouldn't? He's the best player on the planet.

It's not bad to think you're the best player on the planet when you, in fact, are the best player on the planet. It is bad though to make claims you are not able to back up.

Dude just had one of the best Final performances in the history of the league...it was clear that he was the best player on the floor, no one else was close. Stop it.

Nothing to do with what I said about the man talking himself up. If the man went to the moon, he would say he could easily go to Mars. It's a little bit annoying is all.

It's also annoying when M.J. says he could beat some of his players in one-on-one. Pretty cocky/foolish too.

And one of the best Finals ever? Maybe in terms of effort. He was very impressive and showed a lot of heart. High volume shooting with low percentage scoring just didn't cut it. The biggest reason Andre Iguodala got the MVP was due to LeBron's low efficiency when he was being guarded by Iggy.

LOL.

He just single handedly kept his team in the NBA Finals for 6 games.

He averaged 36ppg, 13rpb, and 9apg.

I'd say he proved it pretty damn well.

What's more annoying is people like you trying to disparage the performance.

Lebron is the best player on the planet. He more than backed it up in these Finals.

Stop with this garbage.

Lebron was not efficient in this Championship series. He is Lebron so he is going to get his and had to take on the scoring. But, he shot like shit. He had one game that he shot well. He wasn't doubled and was left in ISO most of the time, so you can't say he had double teams all series. Cats were lucky this went 6. GS got cold the first 3 games. Cleveland D did step up a little but GS was missing shots they didn't miss all year. Lebron gave a ton of effort. His athletic freakiness was on display. He still did his flopping shit. Lebron is the best player in the world, but its not going to be for long.

Ok great.

Jordan "shot like shit" in two Finals series as well. It happens. I don't understand the need to try and tear down this performance. LeBron was spectacular this series.

I want to address this point as well:

The voters are idiots. Lebron was having shooting issues before Iggy started primarily checking him and starting. Hell, James didn't shoot well the entire playoffs. People acting like Andre Igoudala suddenly started making James shoot poorly weren't really paying attention the previous two months. In games two and three James shot below 40% combined. The Cavs won both games. Lebron should have won this Finals MVP.

Kawhi Leonard won MVP in part last year because of this perception that he "shut down James".

James' Finals last year:
57% shooting (52% from 3pt range)
28 PPG
8 RPG
4 APG

I think its no secret the voters are not going to vote for someone from the losing team.

Where did I tear him down? And where did I mention Jordan? I could give a shit what Jordan did. I gave my opinion on what happened. Lebron almost missed more shots then Steph Curry took in the series. If this was Kobe, people would be calling him a ball hog and everything else. Lebron did what he had to do, but his stat line was inflated by having almost every possession in his hand. Im not saying he made it that way. It had to be that way.

Some of them did, which is somewhat encouraging. I mean it's a rare case where a guy on a losing team REALLY deserves consideration for the award but this year was a year I think it should have happened. I think Igoudala was more valuable to the Warriors offense than defense honestly considering the struggles Thompson had all series. James did was James did pretty much the entire playoffs. Shot poorly but put up huge numbers anyways. There wasn't really a difference.

I made the comparison earlier in the series to James reminding me of Barkley in the 92-93 Finals and it still holds true.
