I like watching Memphis. I think it would be awesome if they made it/won

Yes, but to the casual fan their style is boring. NBA don't care about the die hards who will watch anyway. :elephant:

Eh...I'd still want to watch the Clippers. They play an exciting brand of basketball. I think they'd at least be the least of the NBA's worries for ratings relative to the other teams. Memphis is kind of the NBA's rating nightmare. Small market, grind it out style of play, lots of under-appreciated players.
Most NBA fans will still watch it, which is what most of us posters are. However a person like me is certainly going to do something else that night than watch the game if opportunity presented me. Where as say last year and the year before my plans were to watch the Finals with SA vs MIA going at it.

I see what you're saying. I'm in the same boat.
I
mo no matter what the Finals are going to have worse ratings than the past few years just due to the nature of who's involved. GS probably gets the best ratings from the West side. From the East...Cleveland I guess has the best ratings chance, but without Love idk. It may actually be Chicago who'd get the best ratings. You can run a whole redemption of DRose story there or whatever. I'd think at the end of the day Steph vs Lebron would be the matchup the NBA wants. Biggest names at the very least.

Maybe I'm a homer, but I think Chicago vs GSW gets the best ratings at current.

If Cleveland still had Love, I think they would get more than Chicago based on it being LeBron and Superfriends but the way things are shaping up that Cleveland team is going to look like the 07 Cleveland team soon.

You might be right. But it depends on Kyrie's health. If Kyrie is hobbled for the rest of the playoffs, then yes, we're probably the most marketable team in the East.

So them Warriors come out looking like the Warriors again to tie the series.

Hawks also tie up their series.

3 series are 2-2.

Clippers can close out tonight.

Rockets all of a sudden have heart.

Hawks look like they are moving on.

Obviously, Cleveland moves on

GS has retaken control and I dont see Mephis being able to fight back

I still like my GS Hawks pick with GS dominating the series. Its hard to stop a team that can D up and score.

If the clippers blow the series anyone think they blow up this team? 3-3. And going to Houston. Not looking good.

I dont know how you blow them up. You have a big game coach. Multiple superstars and above average role players. I dont think you can blow it up. You can maybe tweak it. I dont see CP3 letting them lose. The dude is a boss and deserves to taste some success. GS and Clips would be an awesome series!

Fair point. They're having unparalled success for the franchise that's for sure but I guess the question rises from the fact that we live in such an instant gratification sports world now. That after four seasons 12,13,14,15 of the CP3, Griffin, Jordan show, and not getting past the second round they'd say maybe not. I tend to agree that the roster needs tweaking because they did bring in Doc. We'll see Game Seven. I actually hope the Clippers win, I'm rooting for them.

I think they'll resign Jordan and keep their core together. If anything, they'll upgrade on the wing and the bench.

What a choke job by LA. JJ Redick was also MIA the past 3 games.

So I posted a thread awhile back seeing what people thought about a cancer named Josh Smith. That cancer has now been a key piece on a Rockets team that's now in the conference finals.
