3 player draft. Have to get one of the top 3 picks. Absolutely have too.

You and I both know they'll end up with the 4th pick and draft the next Marcus Fizer.

Ja morant has too much upside to pass on at a position of need. If he’s there when the bulls pick, he should be the choice.

I agree with this.

1. Zion(can’t teach or train for what he has)
2. Ja Morant- special and a point guard. A higher b-ball IQ than Westbrook with similar explosion and burst.
3. Barrett- reminds of a Pierce or Carmelo without any proven winning factor now that he couldn’t lead duke alone. I would consider several players ahead of him by the time draft is here likely.

Morant is special, and another small school guy in Pippen should not have us worrying, but why did he not go to a big school? Is basketball IQ all he has?
Not bashing the guy, maybe he is staying home to take care of his grand mother or something, just wondering.

He wasn’t a big time recruit at all. Had an offer from in state South Carolina and USC got in late after Murray state pretty much had him locked up. I would imagine he chose playing time at Murray state, supposedly they needed PG help badly. Not sure what his grades were in high school, but i imagine they were decent at least, with USC interested and South Carolina offering.

Lillard and McCollum both came from smaller schools. I don't see any reason to discount Morant because of what school he went to or what schools didn't recruit him. No clue why he wasn't more highly recruited, but players do fly under the radar for whatever reason

Murray State was already deep into recruiting him by the time a lot of the other school's caught wind. Plus he would have to prove himself again at one of those bigger schools if he welched on the Murray State commitment and we know sometimes there can be politics in play. All things if I was considered if I was him and a low rated recruit I would have took the guaranteed spot at a successful(for their level) mid-major program as well.

If we lose lottery how does crowd feel about Tennessee’s Williams or Rui hachamura at SF.

Both have strong body types. RUIs genetics are interesting with the wide chest/shoulders of Japanese strength but leaner and longer. Well put together, Williams is an ox like Zion without freak athleticism but plenty of offensive polish.

I’m a huge Tennessee volunteers fan, however, Williams’ game doesn’t translate well to the nba. He has amazing work ethic and is a leader...but he’s at best a bench big man. Certainly can’t be a 3 in the nba. Tennessee has a really really good team this year, but not much currently on the roster that will have any sort of nba impact. Jordan Bowden and Jordan bone are probably the best nba prospects on the team. They have some 5 star recruits coming the next couple years, then rick Barnes might have some real nba talent to work with. He’s done a hell of a job with a bunch of 3 star prospects to this point

If we lose out on the lottery Jarrett Culver, Darrius Garland, Coby White, Deandre Hunter and probably several other guys I'm missing are all likely picks for us before we entertain Hachimura or Williams. Hachimura is a undersized 4 in the NBA, probably a backup big. Some people actually like Hachimura's teammate Brandon Clarke is the NBA prospect with more upside.

Yeah I don’t know. Something about him. I think he plays SF in NBA for his defense first.

Hachimura's not a 3 unless he can learn how to handle a ball on the perimeter and way improves his shot. He works and scores on the inside. Everything about his game is an NBA 4.

I think Morant would be a game changer for us and Dunn would be a solid defensive PG tool in shed as backup.

Morant-Lavine-Porter-WCJ-Lauri

Dunn-Lopez-Hutchinson

But if not Morant who are the next two PGs?

Ok...so
1. ZION
2. Morant
3. White
4. Garland

For bulls need? I think we go PG unless transcendent player is available.
