I was the leader of the ridley train at #8. Miller looks like he will be good but Ridley already is tearing it up like I assumed he would.
I, too, was in favor of trading down for Calvin Ridley during the draft.
Watching him tear it up is painful... I think it would have been nice to have another weapon, especially a guy who really wanted to be here. Coming off a knee injury, Robinson was risky... plus it would be nice to have someone in the wings when Robinson's contract is up. That's pretty much what Atlanta did.
Oh well..
Here’s hall of fame lock Quentin Nelson in OT yesterday getting absolutely destroyed by Clowney, pretty much ending that drive and the game in a tie...

Same here once a few of my favs were gone but getting Mack made Smith a no braner. Sometimes things have a strange way of working out. For the guys that wanted Edmunds, I asked, why when Smith is better?
If he made that play as a Bear, the B word would be flying around this forum.
FWIW I don't think there are very many guards in the NFL at all that would be able to handle a running start line twist/stunt move like that from Clowney.
People were trying to project him into an edge rusher.
