Sorry, but those that don’t think the grizz are contenders are wrong. They sure look the part to me

Really ugly last possession there. Demar trying to force up a 2 in the paint while down 3

Vuc was really disappointing tonight. Getting bullied on the boards and useless offensively. Missed a lot of easy shots.

Tough Loss but we showed some fight

Memphis is Good ....RESPECT

A few things that stood out

1 - we played without a PG tonight
2- the drop coverage defense is not effective against point guards who don't like to chuck from the outside
3- There is something in the scouting report against the Bulls because teams are sending their guards to the boards HARD ATL went to the glass the same way
4- Vuc cant be the only one rebounding
5- the 4th quarter against good teams simply cannot be DEmar being the only person to the touch for 6-7 minute stretches . It simply will not work against good teams and it causes too much standing around
6 - Bulls only had 17 assists

I have youtube TV so alI have all the games on dvr and I was able to go back last night and check out the Clippers game and the jazz game and what stood out to me in this game with the absence of Caruso and Ball is that defensively Ball and Caruso make 3-4 defensive rotations EVERY SINGLE TIME . The team right now has the first help and then the second help and then they stand and watch and if the opponent makes a 3rd pass it usually ends up with a open shot or layup. It really is amazing how much energy those 2 guys were expending on the defensive end

Bulls were really getting killed in the 4th qtr on 2nd chance points. They could not secure a rebound. I would have liked TT in the game since Vuc wasn’t doing much of anything offensively. Bulls needed the defense, rebounding and energy.

That stretch where Memphis was winning without him and then lost a couple of games when he came back really destroyed his chance this season
Lmao at the notion it “destroyed” his MVP chances

The MVP race is so competitive this season, Ja might average 45 points the last 20 games and still not come in 3rd place. Destroyed doesn't seem like too extreme of a word to describe his chances. Embiid, Jokic, and DeRozan definitely deserve it more.

How do they deserve it more?

I believe Philadelphia and Denver would be out of the playoff conversation completely if Embiid and Jokic weren't on their teams, respectively. They are also having better statistical seasons than Morant, objectively. DeRozan not being on the Bulls would more than likely put Chicago in the play-in picture right now. Bulls have been injury riddled and they're still only a few of games out of falling as far as the 6th seed.

Disappointing the Bulls never win these marquee games against the good teams....never. I don't know what that means as far as playoffs are concerned....but it isn't good. This stretch of games will show us alot and it's not off to a good start. Games like this makes it look like the Bulls are pretenders. Maybe they are.

Okay, and?

Grizz have a superior record to philly, Denver, and Chicago. And Ja is their only all star

Bulls are 0-2 against the grizz and 0-3 against philly. DeRozan ain’t winning MVP

Not to mention you claimed that the grizz’s record when Ja was out “destroyed” his MVP chances. Then you go on to claim it’s because how good of seasons the other 3 guys are having. Well, which is it? You’re moving goal posts around now
