Lmao billy didn’t mention Zach specifically, so first off you’re merely speculating it’s about him

Secondly, I find it laughable that we are talking about ZL’s defensive rebounding as being the bulls issue…when again, his defensive rebounding rate is at a 3 year peak. And is higher than lonzo’s whomst you just got done praising for his defensive rebounding. You do understand how that is hypocritical, yeah?!

And lastly, you now are nagging on ZL’s rebounding over the last couple of weeks or so while he’s been dealing with a bad knee and a bad back…yeah, wow…color me shocked he isn’t rebounding at as high of a rate as he was when he was fully healthy. I bet he isn’t shooting as well and doing many other things as well as when he was healthy. Shocking!

Did you watch the game ? Stacey on at least 3 separate occasions mentioned Zach leaking out but the Bulls could not secure the rebound .

WTF are you talking about ? You always come with some BS reply

I clearly stated in my post that everybody has to rebound its the only way small ball works . I mentioned this particular game where were playing a huge team and getting killed on the boards and that you would like to see some in game adjustments and growth from your players such as hey my teams killed on the glass let me go down and help. These sorta of adjustments you'd like to see from Zach an d young if you wanna superstar trying to fill the void of what your team needs on a game by game basis and then you go into some weird song and dance about the rebound rate for the season but after you actually went back and looked and saw just how much the rebounding has declined you've now turned to well hes hurt but not too hurt to leak out for dunks ? Even Zach wouldn't try and justify your ridiculous response he'd simply say I need to go down and help out more . lol

As opposed to the eye test lol
Eye test is the best evaluation as far as defense goes, IMO. Honestly, I don’t know many people who hold defensive advanced metrics in high regard. They’re not nearly as good as advanced offensive metrics.

I mean are you really saying you’ve watched Vuc this entire season and have the opinion he’s not a below average defender? He’s slow footed, plays with low energy, and gets worked inside against anyone with halfway decent post moves.

This is actually a good point, Bulls have struggled on the boards and that is something Lonzo does well from the guard spot. Securing rebounds eliminates second chance points and particularly when Lonzo gets a rebound, ignites our transition offense. We haven't really seen much of that lately.
It's the domino effect on defense. Having both Ball and Caruso out forces DeRozan, LaVine, and White to guard players they normally wouldn't guard. Ayo has certainly helped and forcing the coaching staff to develop him. Basically, Bulls started the season with their 3 best defenders and now they are all out. Makes a significant impact on defense.

Advanced defensive stats generally have a high bias towards big men.

But they're mostly just not good because there aren't enough stats to actually measure good defense.

Man, if only ZL and DD didn’t think they were “too cool for school,” then the bulls would really be going places!!!

Yes I have and he more than holds his own especially considering until last week he was the ONLY BIG on the team . Has anyone here actually played basketball ? You really think the coaches want him out trying to challenge every shot get overly physicals where there was literally NO ONE could come in for him . If Zach picks up 2 quick Coby will have to come in and give you some his scoring back but if Vuc picks up two you lose effectively your only rebounder all your size and immediately become super small or play Bradley .

No one is claiming hes great but hes so far from the problem with Bulls defense its not even funny hes starting next to a 6'5 sf and I showed the numbers not because they say hes great I showed the numbers to show that good teams including the ones we just lost too have PF so far ahead of our PF but somehow its all on Vuc . Steven Adams is great but he has the second best guy according defensive metric at PF next to him too Bam is awesome but Tucker is up there as well . Joker has Gordon and Embiid has Harris .But lets dismiss it as coincidence because advance stats are not accurate

But for some reasons Bulls fans look at that and still come away well its still all just Vucs fault

Or have fans giving fake injuries to try and to try and cover up ridiculous claims

Don’t think I ever said the Bulls defense is all on Vuc. Vuc doesn’t have the ideal pairing at PF, but let’s not pretend he was good defensively last year with Williams. I guess we just have different definitions of holding your own. Defense is largely a mindset. You have to bring energy, move your feet, be in good position, and play with an intensity and determination. Vuc is just lack luster in those areas. He’s a below average defender pretty comfortably, IMO but we can agree to disagree.

Never liked defensive advanced stats at all. I don’t care what the numbers say, Vuc is a poor defender

Yeah the stats posted say he is a better defender than Zo and Caruso.

So ZL’s not injured?? He doesn’t have an ongoing knee issue? He hasn’t had a lingering back issue??

Like wtf are you going on about even?? Nobody is making anything up except you now

also, as a side note…work on your English
