Defense is pathetic tonight
That’s how they play D now. Don’t know what BD is doing, but these guys look hopeless and lost defensively. On ball defense is terrible and rotations are terrible. Can’t guard the PnR and always 2-3 seconds late closing out on the shooters. Just bad

Been that way allot longer than tonight. We need Caruso and Zo back, their defensive intensity, getting in passing lanes, etc had a ripple effect.

Definitely. However, I will say, the guys on the court could and should do much better. They’ve been racking up a lot of blooper reels the last month or more.

Williams is getting pretty close too. I'd like to see the team full strength to gel for a couple weeks before the playoffs. And so Donovan can figure out his rotations

They just look so much different with AC in the rotation. Once Ball and PW are in the lineup as well, the defense will be scary.

Sure the cavs were shorthanded but carusos impact is palpable. The bulls haven’t played with that much energy in forever. Their effort and defensive rotations were significant better. On ball defense as well. He’s just a difference maker

Amazing what one bench player can do.

It really is. He’s by far the bulls mvp on defense. Just the energy he brings alone is invaluable
Real test will be vs the good teams coming up. I'm hopeful can take some of those games.

8 out of next 9 on the road though.

Still a good shot to win 50 games which was my pre-season prediction. Considering all the injuries, that would be impressive but yes, they need to put it together against good times. Bulls could get hot and healthy going into the playoffs

Need to win 9 of 15 to hit 50. Doable if we believe Caruso gets us over the hump with some of these good teams. I imagine Ball comes back somewhere here too.

Of the absolute best teams, we play Phoenix, Milwaukee 2x, and Miami. We play 6 other teams in a Top 8 seed playoff position (all teams we've beaten at least once too). Sacramento, NOLA, NYK, Washington, and Charlotte are all "easy" games.
