By Coby White standards, he had a solid game.

His shooting was only slightly worse than DeMar's was yesterday, yet no one criticizing DeMar for not shooting the team average of 65%.
You’re smarter than this…you know damn well why nobody critiqued demar for one game of under 50% shooting.

Track records are why

Yep. Cobys two biggest problems have always been defense and offensive consistency.

While his shooting wasn’t great yesterday, that was probably the best overall game of his career. His defense was averageish as opposed to abysmal and he made some great decisions. Wasn’t a great shooting night, but not terrible either. If Coby can give the Bulls consistent play like yesterday (wont have as many assists, obviously), that’s an enormous boost off the bench.

I’ve been one of Cobys biggest critics. But trying to stay objective here. He’s only 21, had no off-season, and I think just only recently got his legs under him. Then the covid protos. He seems to be slowly turning a corner. Is it in the bag? No. He may never get there but definitely still plenty of time for him.
You’re forgetting the stretch his rookie year when he was rookie of the month. That was the best coby has ever played

but again, I liked the pace he played with for the most part last night. He was less out of control than usual

Not forgetting I just think his overall pace, play making, and defense (decent vs atrocious) from last night is his best overall performance . He did have a really good stretch his rookie year scoring the ball but high turnovers, frantic, and matador defense. Either way, doesn’t really matter. He just needs to build off it and play consistently. I’m hoping he can

Found it interesting that Lonzo Ball is #21 in DWS this year.

Haters don't like when you tell them Lonzo is playing better D this year.

Yep, does make you question defensive win share a bit huh?

it’s why I always enjoy looking more at VORP. Harden ranks well there too, he does put up numbers…can’t argue that
