why does Pace do this shit? He is obsessed with throwing three darts at the same position. mother fuckin idiot.
OL is not one position. It is five. Plus, whether fans like to hear it or not on draft day, depth is important. Not every 5th rounder is going to step in and start.

Well, if you don't draft a WR, you sure aren't going to improve the group. Many good WRs have been found in lower rounds. You need to provide your QB with receivers who can get open. If ARob is injured, the team is screwed.
The best WRs in the league won't matter much if the QB can't get time to throw. The QB has no chance if the D doesn't have to respect the running game. Fans hate when OL is the choice, but it matters a lot.

Picking a QB at this point would be criminally stupid. Even if he is a "value" pick, what good would it do?

I've seen this movie before, about 20 times on the bears in last 15 years. These guys never make it when there scouting reports give hope. This one says he is too slow. Has poor athleticism. Is an UDFA and practice squad meat.

LOL at people thinking this pick has a chance.

There were safeties and linebackers on the board that could contribute to special teams right away and get in line behind Bush. A WR...A running back...

I just hate the pick as much as I love the first two.

If you don't like the player, you don't like the player.

I was responding to the notion that the 2nd and 3rd pick were both for one position.

how many cbs/linebackers do we need we have 3 picks that can all contribute so why be completely dismissive of the pick because we might need special team players....

with the last pick in round 6 the odds anyone becomes a contributor is slim....why not take a qb....if he hits, he's a cheap backup and/or a trade chip....if not, he's likely like any other 6th round pick....gone in 2 years

I want Trey Smith, OG, and Kylin Hill, RB..

Trey Smith is a 1st rd talent...he must be dropping due to blood clots he had a few seasons ago that stopped his season. (His mom also died due to health related reasons)

True, but it looks like Pace is now ignoring WR just as he ignored OL for years.

If we had Chase Daniel as backup right now, yeah. But he's not unseating Andy Dalton. Whether we like that or not. Plus you are way overvaluing the guy.

OK, I will jinx us by saying this with 5 picks left in front of the Bears - Dylan Moses would be a nice value pick at a position of need at this stage.

Every remaining pick should be on a guy who had a 1st/2nd round grade but got caught with the sin of marijuana or robbed a jewelry store or something instead of fringe or undersized prospects. If Nagy is a good coach show you can develop the culture too

I was hoping we could snag Chris Evans as a UDFA,, but the Bengals got him.

Trey Smith OG Tennessee 6'6" 320 lb nasty streak
Marvin Wilson FL ST 6'4" 305 lb DT run stuffer

Are my two best available right now before this pick
