NCAA is worse but officiating isnt a full time job so unless these leagues do that. It will always be the same.

Another thing, its the human element. Certain people just dont like each other and the refs are no different with players.

I will give them this that sometimes what we believe arent fouls are by the book fouls. Thats more on the league and them catering to superstars and scoring.

Giannis and Doncic talk about its much harder to score in Europe league do to all the rules of not being in the paint and the foul calls you can get.

Also, you want to see someone get fouled a ton. Watch Zion play. Dude gets the Shaq treatment of hes bigger so they swallow the whistle.
The whole game would just be at the free throw line. Who the hell wants to see that? That's why they swallow the whistle on those type of players.

Lebron been getting them calls his whole life. I watched Lebron berate a ref last night. No tech and goes down the court and just barrels into the player and the ref called the foul. I think they scared of him lol

He was so good at absorbing contact in the air and also avoiding the worst of it. He should have averaged 9-10 FT per game

LaVine also gets the short end of the stick. If he got the Harden treatment he’d be around 8-10 attempts per game easy

At least we got Demar who can get to the line at will. But you are right

Demar is so goddamn smooth. Always in control and always knows how to get to one of his seemingly infinite spots based on how the defense is playing him. I hoped some of this would have rubbed off on Zach who too often makes things more difficult on himself.

He still hasn’t figured out that taking 35 footers with 20 seconds on the shot clock in a close game isn’t the best idea. I think there were at least 2 instances of that happening against Philly late in the fourth quarter. For a vet, the awareness is not where you’d like it to be

Zach took a 26 footer with 9:49 left and the Bulls down one, 9 seconds into the shot clock.

He took a 21 footer with 1:41 left in the game down two, 9 seconds into the shot clock as well.

To be fair though, everyone missed in the last 4 minutes. The Bulls scored two points from 4:14 until the end of the game via two Vuc free throws. All of their shots were misses. Kinda like the Thibs days there.

The problem sometimes when you're a good jump shooter, is that you settle for some awful jumpers. I'm sure we could find instances of early long jumpers Zach has taken that he's made as well. Time and place...but nevertheless Zach's decision making does need to improve still. He admitted to completely missing Vuc wide open in the corner late in the game vs Philly.

This has been a theme with Zach though in his career. I remember an especially awful long distance 3 in the playoffs last year early in the shot clock. Is he capable of making them? Sure…but they’re low % and should be seeking better shots in crunch time

Vucevic needs to go off tonight, Nets don't have depth at center

And the Nets are in turmoil.
Of course. But now watch their players come out and play hard for the interim coach to try and make it look like it was all Nash lol

This is exactly the sort of game the Bulls would manage to lose, other team is in disarray and playing poorly only to find their stride against the Bulls' lackluster 1st quarter performance

Hope I'm wrong though, I hope Vuc goes for 40 tonight
