I think Pax is still around as an advisor lol….unfortunately AK just extended BD in the off season so that is very much off the table. I don’t get the point in hanging onto any of LaVine/Demar/Vuc. LaVine never was a max impact guy and he’s only gotten worse. DeMar and Vuc don’t fit long term but likely have value around the league. As usual, I don’t understand the direction of the team

What don’t you understand? It’s a reinsdorf group owned team. Just be good enough to make money is the motto. That’s why you won’t see the fire sale.

But they’re not. They’re right back where they were before they cleaned house. They likely will miss the playoffs at this rate. What money are they making? What’s worse, Lonzo is basically done and they’re paying a max deal to LaVine to produce like a role player. I see a ton of empty seats in the UC too. You could make the argument that they have more to gain by blowing it up than sticking with this mess

This would also be fitting given the Bulls are the worst clutch team in the league
They were one of the best last year with the same roster. Law of averages at its finest

Indeed. Other teams have generally figured out how to stop Demar down the stretch, and even when they haven't Bulls have found a way to lose right at the end or otherwise collapse in OT. It's just that kind of season, even when it seems like we came back to get the win, we still end up losing

Weird how the Bulls woke up to play the Jimmy-less Heat, but maybe all this reported dysfunction woke them up for a game.

Still expecting a 20 point loss in their next game though

And ZL played arguably his best game of the season

Glad it happened, just wish it didn't take 30 games
I mean, dude DID have knee surgery in the offseason after playing on a hurt knee the last half of last season…it taking some time to get back to form shouldn’t shock anyone. The fact he still managed to avg 22 a game while not 100% should speak volumes, instead he gets trashed on by most on here. Typical, I guess

Well fandom is all about instant gratification and what have you done for me lately rather than considering players as people with real life obstacles to overcome so...

It is? Guess there’s a difference between “fandom” and actually knowing basketball and understanding the obstacles to it?

There is. Plenty of fans don't know squat about basketball, and probably even less care about obstacles players have to go through
