I swear Caris Levert is one of those guys you can always pick in those daily fantasy or betting things to go off against the Bulls, doesn't matter how crap he was prior, he always shows up vs the Bulls it seems like

You’re absolutely right. Levert for whatever reason always has good games against the Bulls.

Lose double digits to the Rockets, beat the Bucks in OT. Can't wait until these bozos get blown out by Detroit.

Also, for the love of all that is holy can someone on this team break one of Allen's ribs?

Opposite of last year where they lost every time they played a good team, now it’s the bad teams they struggle with. Go figure

And Allen truly has the most punchable face in the NBA, would love to see Drummond get a hold of him one good time

Seriously someone needs to lay that dude out.
What are Nazr Muhammad, Andres Nocioni, and Kurt Thomas doing these days?

Bulls blew a 21 point lead.
Refs seemed to call everything for the Cavs in the 3rd Q, which essentially put them back in this game.
Mitchell though had an amazing 4th Q and OT and amazing overall performance. Cavs needed just about every one of those 71 to win.
Most points EVER scored on the Bulls. T-7th most points in NBA history.

Edit: Actually he's the 7th player to score 70+ points.. 12 times 70 or more points has been scored.

I never was a fan of taking the foul and giving the opposition 2 free throw attempts when they’re down 3. Especially with that much time left…there was what, like 4-5 seconds left? Make them hit a 3. Other than that, can’t say too much. I kept bouncing back and forth between the MNF game after the Hamlin incident.

I agree.. though the way things were going/have gone, I would totally expect Mitchell to nail a three to tie it at the buzzer or something. In any sense, I prefer to just let it play out in that situation.

The take foul was absolutely the correct call

Also, can someone teach Williams how to box out?

Well, he was at a slight disadvantage because Mitchell committed a lane violation. But doesn't exactly excuse Williams either.

Its a strategy I simply don't like as a fan. I might have selective memory too but I've seen it backfire more than work.

I've seen it go the other way too when announcers are yelling to foul instead of allowing a three.. Team doesn't and then a three happens. I just assume it goes both ways. One way drags out the game though.

Fair enough. Williams was still in front of him though but Mitchell was quicker to react to the ball and PWill didn’t keep him boxed out. Williams is always a step slow to react it seems

That’s fine to not like it, however it doesn’t change the fact that it’s the correct strategy. Especially when a dude it lighting you up to the tune of eventually 71 points

Obviously, the choice didn’t work out, that said there’s still a chance that Mitchell or someone else drills a 3 if you don’t foul and you still end up tied

Reality is the strategy worked like it was supposed to, sans not getting a rebound off a missed free throw like teams do 9/10 times

Also, can BD draw up a creative play out of a timeout? Has it ever happened? Have to imagine you could get a better shot than a DeMar 3 PT attempt with 4 seconds to go. Same thing as the game before more or less. I realize Demar has been clutch, but you don’t always have to just throw it in to Demar near the 3 point line and have everyone get out of the way.

Team has two guys who have made clutch shots.. They only use one of them though.

Yep. I mean, no matter who is getting the ball, BD can do a better job creating a good look. Absolutely no creativity after a timeout. But yeah, drawing up a play for Zach would be a good idea. The play is drawn up for Demar 100% of the time

And somehow people are puzzled at why ZL might want out lol

I didn’t know he wanted out?
That’s the supposed rumor being put out there. Dunno how much credence I lend it, but wouldn’t totally shock me if he wanted to be traded to LA
