My favorite teams
I thought this would be a fun exercise to do now that the draft is complete. A lot of posters, myself included, like to look back on past drafts multiple years later and point to players who we should've drafted.
Now's your time to call your shot. Go on record here. Knowing how the draft fell, who would you have taken with our picks instead of going the route of Poles? We can bump this thread in a year or two and see who actually called that diamond in the rough.
Rules:
39: George Pickens, WR UGA (originally taken 52). Talented WR with #1 WR potential to help Fields. I feel better about this pick after seeing him chose by Pittsburgh as they have a long track record of finding, and developing very good WRs.
48: Bernahard Raimann, OT CMU (originally taken 77). Potential LT of the future. I'm not sure if we have a long-term LT on the team. Jenkins played RT in college (not to mention his back injury history) and Borom was projected at guard. Raimann solidifies that spot for 10 years.
71: Dylan Parham, OG Memphis (originally taken 90). Athletic player. Played both tackle and guard in college. Will settle in at guard and offers a nice scheme fit with his athleticism.
168: Derion Kendrick, CB UGA by way of Clemson (originally taken 212). Starting CB on two national championship teams. Big game experience starting at both Clemson and UGA. 6' frame to start opposite JJ.
174: Matt Araiza, P SDSU (originally taken 180). The Punt God. Can kick the shit out of the ball. Perfect replacement for O'Donnell. Slipped a little because his hang time isn't up to NFL standards yet, but that's nothing he can't work on. A weapon that can flip field position with one swing of his leg.
186: Cade Mays, OG, Tenn by way of UGA (originally taken 199). Former 5-star recruit. Has played all 5 position on the OL offering great positional versatility. I think with time he could be groomed to take over for Whitehair at LG.
203: Quentin Lake, Safety UCLA (originally taken 211) Solid safety. 4.6 40, with a good amount of experience. Second team all-Pac 12. Not spectacular but can help the depth at safety and be a core special teamer.
207: Jonathan Ford, DT Miami (originally taken 234). Big body NT. 6'5, 330. Not gonna offer an interior pass rush but can keep blockers off the LBs. Could be a decent rotational piece.
226: Kalon Barnes, CB Baylor (originally taken 242). Big time speed running a sub 4.3 40. This is a guy you take a flyer on because you can't teach that speed. Pure development CB.
254: Charleston Rambo, WR Miami by way of OU (originally undrafted). This may be a homer pick, but I'm surprised he went undrafted, I thought he'd be 5th round selection so grabbing him in the 7th here. Big time production in his one year at Miami after not being featured at Oklahoma.
255: Jalen Wydermyer, TE Texas A&M (originally undrafted). This guy was at one point the top TE in his draft class. Productive at Texas A&M, but tested poorly. I think he would've been worth drafting and developing as backup TE.

Rules:
- No trades-You have to use the picks as Poles used them
- Player has to available on the pick you're redrafting them at
- Example, Christian Watson taken at 34, not available to Bears at 39
