Had the NZ vs Philly game on for a bit, no sound. Wife and her friend walked in and asked what was I watching. I told them it was the WNBA finals.

Wife's friend asked, "is Caitlin Clark playing?" I said, "yep, she's number 11 on the pink team. "

She spent a good 10 minutes praising how good she was while watching the game, and how it's awesome they wear pink uniforms.

And yes, I had a crappy stream playing, so it wasn't very clear to begin with.

Dude has been shooting the lights out lately, definitely very impressive. He did show the same flashes in preseason as well. Probably also helps to have JJ as a coach, knows exactly what kind of actions to use him in.

That said, hopefully he doesn't end up pulling a Duncan Robinson

lol duncan robinson can only dream of being as athletic as Knecht is. they are both white and can shoot the 3 ball...that is where the comparison ends. Knecht is a much more well rounded player than Robinson

From the couple of games I've seen him play, yes Knecht can do way more than Robinson. But the way he was being used (in those games) was pretty much as a shooter. He can shoot off the dribble though, which is a fairly significant advantage.

that may be how they are mostly using him currently, which is likely due to lebron needing the ball in his hands. but, Knecht is a 3 level scorer that can create with the ball in his hands, can push a fastbreak, and has the athleticism to run on the fast break and finish at the rim with authority

Bulls should have and could have taken him instead of Buzelis or whatever his name is. but, then again, the bulls arent serious about winning

One can argue than even if Bulls drafted Dalton then he'd just be sitting on the bench and otherwise doing nothing. Bulls lotto picks rarely find long term success with the team.

DK is a furious player. I never had him as a bust. As well as Filipowski, who is a 3 year project player who ALREADY is producing. I wanted the Bulls to draft a few players ahead of Matas.

But I still like Matas, he's either going to add 30lbs of muscle, and become a beast... or he's going to become the team clown.

They could have traded Caruso to the Kings for #13 and still take Matas at 11. I liked the Giddey trade but I'm seeing an empty calorie player that is going to be payed way too much.

Giddey is a guy who might be better than we give credit for, but isn't gonna be that superstar this team needs to do anything other than what they've done since 2011. Not getting a draft pick of any sort for Caruso is still baffling, because at least Giddey + literally any of OKC's picks would have at least done something to not look like a terrible trade.

That said, Caruso has been a total trainwreck offensively to start this year, but we all know the value he truly brings is defense

Kings currently have the same record as the Bulls, which goes to show how disappointing their season has been so far.

You need to follow an old HC with a young one when your team is young. DeMar isn't prime DeMar, but he doesn't stop a team from playing like a young team, only an old coach does. So I actually get it, especially with how McNair likes to shuffle the deck more often than most.

Real debate with fans has been... Is a Head Coach allowed to publicly throw a player under the bus?

He's not playing all that slow. Domantas and DeMar are playing at about the same speed. They both get back and push at the same rate. This is Domantas's team. He's finally flashing, showing he legacy for more than half of his play time. He's still not doing it for 48 minutes, that's the biggest difference between him and his father. Arvydas either gave it 100%, or he asked to sit on the bench. Of of the few players that could tell their coach to sub them out, and the coach didn't question it. How do you teach that skill(the heart, not the asking to be benched part)? So DeMar at least will close hard in close games. At least that's what I've been seeing in the games that I caught. Sabonis makes a mistake in a close game, or he's gassed, then he just huffs and puffs. That's Mike Brown though, Mike Brown will never see two sides of the story on player management.

I also don't watch every Kings game. They just happen to have a lot of games on when I wanted to throw them on the TV while I work. It's like the suggested games that get forced onto Charter account League Pass members. Its based a opening the account in the Bulls market. The LP Apps assume we are curious to see DeMar on the Kings and Carusso on the Thunder. etc etc..... So you could be seeing something completely different.

I don’t doubt demar going hard in the 4th quarter, but the pace at which demar does it at. He loves to slow the game down and go iso

Jimmy Butler drama comes to a head as the Heat suspend him for 7 games for "conduct detrimental to the team" which is basically requesting a trade and apparently the NBAPA is going to file an appeal. All this after about a week or so ago Shams reported Jimmy wanted a trade and Jimmy's agent put Shams on blast and Pat Riley said they weren't trading Jimmy. But we all know Shams doesn't make stuff up.

I'm a Butler fan... but this is the third team he's having an ugly issue with. Probably would have happened with Philly if he stayed there long enough. You can argue that some of the issues he has had have been legit, but man.... the dude is starting to seem like a cancer himself.
