Worst trade was with Col. Tossed away a all star for trash.

Worst draft pick: Almora has to be that guy. Wasted a #6 pick and Max Fried went #7

Best trade. Has to be for Arreta. You could argue for Rizzo also. Neither is wrong just preferred player.

Best F/A signing: Lester. Darvish close #2.

Best draft pick Bryant. Schwarber most likely beats KB's career line.

Worst DFA. Schwarber and even Jed regrets that one.
You’re crying about the Bryant trade?

What are you talking about? Bryant was traded to SFG. Not Col.

Part of a conversation. After the game. Chill. Most what goes on here is bickering anyways

We got ourselves an MVP. This team has some serious swag and has the trade pieces and money to go after anything at the deadline

Oh, yeah! You're right.

My bad. I forgot you were literally going back more than ten years.

This is an In Game Thread. Not trade talk.

Tie ballgame in the 9th and we don't replace the ham handed first baseman for defensive purposes and a should be double play leads to a Padres run. Damn!

Edit: Busch had been used as PH.

Thanks mlb for blacking out the game I paid you for the privilege of streaming. You saved me from watching the pen blow another save.

Well, no one‘s gonna argue that the pen was terrific, but that game was lost by Justin Turner’s inability to catch a ball at first base.

That game was lost because the bullpen can’t throw strikes.

Hard to agree when you score 7 runs and your entire staff you had on that day can't find the strike zone for chit.

Brown shouldn't be a starter and the bullpen is still the same problem from last year. Speaking of Turner, why was he not pinched on the final out when he's an offensive liability?

He hasn’t been good for 3 years now, but he’s also 40 so hardly surprising.

I would wait until May 15 on Brown and the pen.

By then if Brown is starter quality or not will have more of a track record vs a one game knee jerk.

He could have gone 7 no hit again? Does that mean he is the staff ace now? No it is based off of a body of work.

If he is lacking and Horton is not ready expect Assad back in that role and Jed looking at dealing in July

I still feel that the pen will be self managed for the most part

I am wondering on how long of a leash Stresley has. As of right now I feel good with Merryweather in high pressure. But you can not toss him out 3 innings every game.
