The Browns were and are extremely desperate. They think they have a good team and are trying to find that QB that Mayfield didn’t turn out to be.

They are so desperate that not only did they give up the draft picks and new big contract, but they have him an unprecedented first of a kind fully guaranteed contract which they must have known was going to piss of the rest of the owners for doing so.

I don't think it is beyond belief that Watson enjoyed the services of women who do that sort of thing for cash and now are cashing in.

I am not playing blame the victim here, I am just observing that in a couple separate occasions a group of citizens decided there was not compelling enough evidence to take him to trial...or there was evidence that discredited their claims.

...which leaves Watson pretty screwed.
He is in a fucked up situation where he has to tacitly admit to habitually using prostitutes or find some other way to explain what went down.

Either way, he is screwed.

They are probably all gunning for arbitration and sealed settlements.

At the end of the day I think the reason I am content to wait and see is the grand jury thing.

It doesn't take much to make a grand jury say "there is a strong enough reason to take this to trial".

I mean, after all we are talking about Texas. A state that has an obscenity statute which makes it illegal to own more than 6 dildos.

There must have been some mitigating circumstances that prevented a random selection of citizens from saying "go for it" twice.
