yah Brookbank played just over 3 minutes. Must have been the reason Hossa was so shitty today hogging all those minutes playing forward. Just as Carcillos 8 minutes of ice time ruined the top line.

Seeing that we dressed 11 forwards just boggled my mind, Mayers/Bollig, I do not see any reason to **** with that.

And Carbomb blows. Lets an AHL'er skate right by and get position with the puck behind the net.

Unfortunately, he speaks like an Angel...and I am unable to understand his glorious words...or can't express them as well as he did

I'm sure it'll be replayed though on all their recap shows all day

I don't get NHL Network, RECAP!!!!

Exactly! Carcillo should have seen that guy coming from the other direction behind the net that took the puck off his own teamates stick to make that pass. I learned that move in pee wee's

I figure in a game like today he probably felt better having a defensive player take a few more shifts than Bollig who I like but isn't exactly a bonus in a game where no fights are going to break out. Wangs don't fight why ice Bollig?

4th line could be a bunch of pmx's at this point. The top 3 lines are logging massive minutes and Q once again can roll any 3 at any time and get production at both ends of the ice. Its amazing how this hawks third line has out shinned the top 2 lines in a lot of recent games. He can put that 3rd line out to shut down or to muster up a goal. It's really something special. I think Q has been outstanding with his lines and running the bench. He has great confidence in the 3rd line and its showing and that line is responding big time. Bickell keeps falling down though but its just part of his game.

The other thing that does..is keeps Brookbank/Rozsival in game situations...

It's hard for those guys to sit every other game...or every 3rd game. Even though Brookbank plays 3 1/2min..it's a game feel on the bench/game preparation.

It also can shave some time off the D's minutes. Keith plays 24 in and OT game....it puts Kane on the ice more...Hossa...Sharp..Saad...

I fully understand why Bollig is scratched, and know it keeps Brookbank fresh, but Mayers is a far better upgrade.

Not a knock on Brookbank either, like the guys play. But we just have too many D men, and now it looks like Montador will be making a return in the near future.

He did oddly put Kruger and Toews out there for a shift in OT. I kind of understood it as he wanted 2 centers to guarantee a faceoff win if one got tossed out. Just was funny looking. But Kruger won the faceoff and tried to get off the ice so Kane could come on.

Would have liked more Stalberg in OT myself just for a little personal enjoyment. I think the bergs a guy you want out there 4 on 4. Use his speed on the open ice a bit more.

who cares though hawks win. And im surprised no one has really talked about Kanes cocky ass shoot out goal. And I use cocky in the positive. He made Howard look like Ton without the fancy.

For real, Carcillo pulls this floater crap just as the puck battle begins and lets Tatar go right by him. Very poor defensive play, watch the replay, if he even nicks him on his way to the net its not a goal.

Pause at 2 seconds, Tatar did not come out of nowhere. Skates right by him, thought Ovechkin had joined our team.

Didn't say Tatar came out of nowhere. The guy who made the pass did

63 made the pass - took it off his teammates stick

But **** Carcillo...just shows how absolutely pathetic he is

He has no business being on the ice

Stan signed him...Q plays him...so it's their fault too

Fair enough, misread that then. Either way I am nit picking Carcillo as far as I can take it, but today I really did not like his play.

But this team is 19-0-3. So its not a big deal.

You trying to use some sort of subliminal message here, we all know Modano is retired...but he's still with the Dallas organization.

Lol @ anyone thinking Carcillo sucks.

He DOES NOT belong ANYWHERE NEAR the top line. But he is IDEAL for a 3rd or 4th liner. He has more hockey skills than Ben Eager and Colin Fraser who were beloved on the Cup winning team.

Anyone really want Bollig or Mayers over Carcillo?

Don't hate Carcillo because Q is placing him on the top line.

It is possible to make bad decisions and still be coaching well... Everything is so black or white here on this forum. Either everything someone does sucks, or everything they do is great. No middle ground. And it's funny because you call people out for the same exact mindset.

The guy just isn't as pathetic/terrible as people are making him out to be.

Carcillo plays 7-10min a game. Sometimes he's out there with Toews/Hossa...sometimes on the 4th line. He brings a skill set...he forechecks well...he's very physical
