Shaw is gone. They want to have two vets in there with Trubisky for sure.

He can dress but he is inactive for the game so in the Bears case if that happens it would have been the emergency QB. Last year it was the punter? That's why Walter Payton was the best.

4th quarter if #3 goes in #1 and #2 are still eligible. Before 4th quarter if #3 goes in that's who you're stuck with.
They could get by with him at #3 at least to half the season.

Will they do that? I haven't seen the Bears bring along a young QB like that for a long time. When they've put one in it's been to preserve the starter not get the new QB any meaningful play.
