Hawks win in OT, 3-2.

Toews 1G 1A

Sharp 1G

Hossa 1G 2A

Kane 2A
Fixed

There is no reason they cannot take this second game as well. If we start the game with Eager doing the same as he did last game we will be in an advantagous posistion.

Go Big Ben Go! What a great 6 minutes he played!

I wouldn't be surprised to see the Sharks win...

But that being said, Chicago's fully capable of winning as long as they play like they did yesterday and keep the pressure.

I'm not making a prediction on score or victor, although I do believe that game 2 will be much higher scoring than game 1. I say at least 7 goals are scored in this matchup.

What I will say, however, is this. If the Hawks get three or more power plays in this game, they will win. If they get just one power play per period on average, I don't see the Sharks sustaining the kind of momentum that will swing the game in their favor.

Of course the Hawks have to stay out of the box as well, but I think the refs will be more cognizant of calling it a bit more even this time around.

i doubt niemi will have as strong a game as last night and therefor the hawks need to limit the shots allowed if they want to win. sharks will amp up the intensity and speed for sure. i have a feeling the series will be tied when coming to chicago.

I see the Hawks winning this one as well... Just as close as the last one. I don't think this will be a sweep, but I also don't see it going in the Sharks' favor at the moment, either.

Before I just wanted the Hawks to dig deep and win Game 2 just to put the squeeze on the Sharks and send their fans to the Bay to start queueing up to jump off the bridge. Now as I sit here listening to JR being interviewed on NHL Live on XM and hearing him say if a gun was being held to his head he'd have to choose SJ because of his ties with the players and also that he believes the Sharks are the best team remaining and they and their super-devoted fans "deserve" a Cup I really would like to see the Hawks annihilate the Fish in Game 2---circus trip style! WTFever JR.

Also? Whoa! Dale Tallon as new GM of the Panthers? Good luck with that Dale.

Yup. According to the breaking news on NHL Live on XM and their interview with the Sun-Sentinel reporter who broke the story.

They need to stay out of the penalty box and keep their composure.

Fish factoid: The Sharks have never won a CF home game.

Here's hoping the Hawks keep that little gem of a curse going STRONG tomorrow night! :)

Except they are trying to make fun of the hawks, isn't that the wrong number?

Wrong number, plus the Hawks are not the ones responsible for letting the guy play well beyond his "sell by" date. That responsibility falls to the Wings and even the Thrashers.
