I found this one hilarous from that site...
Except they are trying to make fun of the hawks, isn't that the wrong number?
Wrong number, plus the Hawks are not the ones responsible for letting the guy play well beyond his "sell by" date. That responsibility falls to the Wings and even the Thrashers.
The #FAIL on top of the lame is pretty hysterical IMO---I mean, it's just not ANYwhere even close to the vicinity of Cheli's Hawks number. Dumbasses---but then what can you expect from a fan nation that get's all revved up and prideful because their team steps on the ice through a gigantic fucking papier-maché sea animal head!

That was the point of why i found it funny. Not only is Chelios ancient, but that it was an epic fail on SJ part.

Here it is, Game Two, and I still don't have any hatred in my heart for the Sharks.

I won't be that upset if we lose this game, but would not be shocked if we did.

The Hawks are a better team than the Sharks.

We should see at least one power play to their five.

If we stay oot of the box and limit them to 10 less shots on goal, we could see handshakes on Sunday.

I'll stick by my prediction: Hawks in five.

Some of those photoshops were great! I think we should all be able to laugh at ourselves (and our team) from time to time.

Nobody can predict the future, but if our boys play as well as they did on Sunday then they will surely have a chance to head to the UC up by 2 games. Let's just hope they turn things around at the UC and start a home-win streak.

A lot of good photoshops in there I agree. Wish I had that kind of imagination.

Its not like a Shark isn't hard to photoshop. Plus, its not like you guys aren't novices at photoshopping.

I expect a game very similar to the one from Sunday. It will be a tight hard fought afair. The hawks will get owned in the first like always, come back in the second and own the third too. We will get to see a powerplay as well. Sharks' top remains scoreless and everyone called sharkrs #19 No Show Joe (again)

GAME DAY!

I am quietly confident about this one... could go either way. Hopefully the Hawks pull one out and can at least split at home.

I seriously wonder if we win tonight if a sweep isn't in the cards. Not trying jinx the guys but we eventually have to start playing well at home and starting 2-0 up just might be the reason we do play well at home. I honestly think if we go up 3-0 somehow, we finish them off. But that could be a bad thing because I read not too long ago in the last 10 years in the SCFs the team that has played more games wins 70% of the time

Regardless of this statement, I still don't see us sweeping. People think that just because we won the first one means that we're sweeping all of a sudden? We barely got out of that game alive for heavens sakes. There's 6 potential games to go here and we have to keep our guard up at all times. Remember the last time we thought we'd "sweep"? We lost the next game... I don't like the odds of that, and I'm not too fond of the "pressure of winning at home", since we simply haven't stepped it up in that department yet.

You do raise good points, but there sure as hell won't be a sweep. People are taking the Sharks too lightly, especially since we came out of a great game in game 1... And as someone said earlier... This series isn't over til the 4th game is won. Just ask Boston.

If the Sharks win, I won't be surprised. I'd be angry, yes, because that means the boys HAVE to step it up at home in game 3 and not be fancy like they have been recently. If the Hawks win tonight, like I expect, it will calm my nerves down a lot.

Despite what people think, tonight is more of a "Must win" to see where the direction of the series will turn.

I agree, but I also see us dropping this game. Not that thats what I want but its more likely it will. San Jose is a great team. I say we lose this one 3-1 with with the third goal coming from an open netter. :(

I see that happening in Game 3... That is IF we win Game 2. Pressure sucks, especially at home.

Please don't even mention the "sweep" word in this topic. San Jose wasn't the best record in the West for no reason. They are a very skilled and powerful team. Last game could have been a blowout for them if not for some spectacular saves by Niemi. Hope nobody is kidding themselves about a sweep. Do we have a fantastic team as well? HELL YES! But expect to see some great games with outcomes that may surprise you.

Blow out? Toews hit the post, Kane hit the post. Kane shot the puck 2 inches wide. Versteeg just missed on a great move to the net, beat Nabby puck flew just wide. There's four more goals we could have had.

I do agree with you though lets not get ahead of ourselves. They play 7 game sfor a reason.

I really cannot see how the Sharks are that much better. They have home ice by one point more then the Hawks who have one more win then SJ. The Sharks went up against the Lanche in the first round and were pushed around the first part of the series until they finally woke up. Then SJ makes a big stink about beating the Wangs...hello, their at the end of their dynasty of crap and literally old in regards to the wangs best D man is as old as me.

Now, the Sharks have the Hawks. Who have faced the preds then the nucks.

I don't see how the Sharks are that dominating. Yes, the Sharks belong here in this conference final. They earned that much, but to throw the Hawks under the bus because they "stole" a game is just idiotic. The Hawks played the perfect road game on Sunday. They withstood the pressure from the home ice advantage and capitalized on their chances.

SJ only scored on the PP. They are still looking for their first even strength goal.

If the Hawks play their game again...the Sharks are in big trouble. They will push and have their 7 d jump further into the game. That is the Hawks trap...Sharks get in to deep...the Transition game the Hawks have will destroy Nabby!

Hawks win this one 3-1.

Just win, that's all I want. Last game the Sharks D looked real tired in the third. Cycle the puck, play a puck control game, and when you shoot the puck at Nabby, keep it about 18 inches or so off the ice...recipe for a win.

I was only trying to suggest that if we go up 2-0 the pressure is now on San Jose to not choke, so they with that they might screw themselves up and collapse. Also we eventually have to get it going at home and a 2-0 lead might just kick the boys in the ass to win the next two.

Do I think it is going to happen? Not likely just saying that going up 2-0 gets me thinking.
