#5 Pick & Evans for Noah + #29 pick?

This trade is really enticing because of that pick. Whether or not Tyreke and Rose would mesh is the only hesitancy that I have, but I'd probably still do it because we could use that pick to get a big man in the top 5. At the same time, having Evans run point while Rose is out would help out a ton, even with Noah being gone.

I wonder if we could somehow convince NO to take Boozer and #5 for the #1 and garbage...lol. Start Anthony Davis and Taj Gibson up front with Rose, Evans, and Deng in the backcourt. If only...

NBA titles is really an irrelevant argument....which makes it laughable that unc fans cling to it so much

would say that the only UNC player that a led a team to the NBA title would be jordan, maybe worthy

there's a better way to make the argument for unc here

When it's for a good player and the #5 pick, it's definitely not a bad deal. Noah hasn't really proven himself offensively, whilst Evans can almost do it all and play just about 3 positions. We lack scoring, we need scoring. I'm sure Noah's defense can be replaced.
