Come on, Joe, you're better than this. Buehrle was only decent when the six man rotation was being used (Buehrle, Peavy, Danks, Floyd, Sale, Jackson)

Before the six man rotation: 1.345 WHIP / 5.12 ERA
After the six man rotation: 1.800 WHIP / 6.99 ERA

I think we can find someone to replicate those numbers.....

You're gonna need a new front office.

Kenny has put together teams that on paper to win the divisions year in and year out. If you have teams built to win the division (2002, 2003, 2004, 2006, 2010, 2011) but you finish in second, third, fourth, etc, sounds like that the fault of the manager, not the front office.

Just IMO.


EDIT: FWIW, I'm not saying KW doesn't deserve all the blame, nor am I saying he's perfect, I'm just using logic on where to pass most the blame. And I feel if the Sox don't make the playoffs in 2012, then maybe it should be time to give the key to the Hahn.

Looking deeply into this article I can see what he has the sox listed, no padres, cubs etc. The signing of prince fielder! It is teams that wont be in the world series, and in order to win the world series you have to make the playoffs, and with detroit in our division it will be almost impossible if all their guys stay healthy. the cubs might be bad and rebuilding but there is no "dominant" team in that division, so they could in theory make the playoffs.
