no, that's YOUR premise. not mine.
No, that's clearly your premise.

I'm just stating it to you to make you realize how laughable it is.

they could have won numerous other games throughout the season
Yeah, and I think Westbrook playing 15 more games may have helped that out, no?

again, I knew there would be someone who would try to crucify me over saying I don't like westbrook as a player.
Yes, you're clearly the victim here......

A victim of your own stupidity.

I don't think he will ever win a ring.
This just in: Karl Malone, never played winning basketball. John Stockton, didn't play winning basketball. Patrick Ewing, clearly didn't play winning basketball.

Charles Barkley, not known to have played winning basktball.

Reggie Miller, same.

Can't believe all the non-winning basketball Dominique Wilkins played.
I guess this all makes me an idiot though
Pretty much.

sound like one with your willingness to attack someone simply based off of them having a different opinion than you.
No, my issue isn't you having a different opinion than me, it's that your opinion itself it devoid of any sensible defense. I respect well reasoned, well supported opinions.even if different than mine...yours is not either of those things.

generally, I tend to agree with many of your posts on here
Yeah because I'm really freaking intelligent and back up what I say with facts or statistics and solid logic......see how that works.

however, the ones I disagree with I don't all of a sudden start calling you names to make myself somehow feel more "correct" on the subject
More than likely that's because you have no real rebuttal and can't/couldn't form a coherent one.

For example, your entire rebuttal to my factual post so far as been to cry, play the victim, then cry some more.

Good job. Good effort.

you have the ability to take what I say and twist it and run with it ill give you that much. I gave a rebuttal of how that is not my premise...you didn't like it and thus, have ignored it. so why would I waste time trying to talk to someone who doesn't listen to begin with? you obviously like westbrook and that's fine, you have that right....just as I do to not like him.

I love the idea that Westbrook last year leads the league in scoring and averages over 8 assists and 7 rebounds per game but that's not winning basketball.

I know if I was trying to build a team to win games I'd immediately eliminate a guy that averaged 28-8-7 from consideration of being on my team.

More non-rebuttal....More whining.

It's fine if you can't defend your asinine opinion. Just admit as much and move on.

riiiiiiiight....again since I guess you didn't get it the first time....

westbrook does not play winning basketball IMO. he shoots too much and is not a very good shooter. he plays erratic and careless. super talented and athletic as **** no doubt, but that doesn't mean he plays with a high basketball IQ. his numbers are "forced" if you get what I mean by that. im sure you wont like my reasoning and will bash away, but ill just roll like jay cutler and not give a **** at this point

Yeah, despite all this the Thunder were 40-27 with him in the lineup last year. Without him they were 5-10. Clearly he doesn't play winning basketball.

I'm sure him being in 2nd in PER last season was a real detriment to the Thunder as well.

I'm amazed the Thunder haven't traded him yet.

but that doesn't mean he plays with a high basketball IQ.
Also true. His basketball IQ should have been higher last season and he should have looked to get Dion Waiters and Andre Roberson more shots. That would have been much smarter basketball.

Dunleavy for Westbrook.

Then the Bulls can tank and get the #1 pick after we get this loser.

Draft Ben Simmons.

Profit.

How can anyone call Westbrook over-rated? What can't the guy do? He's a top 5-7 player in this league.

This entire conversation will be irrelevant if the Warriors don't win the title...at that point it will be fun to discuss what a small ball Finals would look like with the second three peat Bulls versus the Warriors. Harper-Jordan-Pippen-Kukoc-Rodman vs Curry-Thompson-Green-Barnes-Bogut lineups.

What era's rules do we use? How much do the first three peat Bulls come into the convo(Keep in mind Jordan always felt that 91-92 team was the best Bulls team)

In general though, I have no idea what kind of point Enasic is trying to make.

Lol....my point is it would be a competitive series. Tough to grasp, I know.

Last year's OKC was beat to hell by injury. The guy that played the most games last year was Anthony Morrow at 74 games.

Westbrook - 67
Ibaka - 64
Adams - 70
Andre Roberson - 67
Durant - 27
Collison - 66

They made midseason trades which they got rid of Reggie Jackson, Perkins, Lamb and brought in Augistin, Kanter, Novak, and Singler. Didn't really make a different for them.

Guys missed a lot of time last season, probably why OKC finished 45-37 and missed the playoffs. Btw, at 45-37 in the East, OKC is the 6th seed last year.

My only complaint about Westbrook is the way he dresses. I can get over that if he were wearing red.

Out of curiosity, besides Curry who would you pick over him? CP3?

CP3 and Curry are obvious ones to me, sure. id list more of the ones id take over Westbrook, but certain people will just derail things over not liking who I choose over Westbrook, so its probably best I don't list them. if it was just you and other reasonable people that can acknowledge that different people have different opinions then I would. ill tell you theres about 3 or 4 more PG's I would take over Westbrook. in reality, it comes down to the style of play that you personally prefer. I like for my PG's to distribute the basketball and run the offense. I don't want my 30% 3 point shooting PG to shoot 4 or 5 of them a game. that's just me though, other people like him and that's fine. I get it, hes exciting and athletic and can do things that people aren't used to seeing a PG do and that's cool...
