Love 70s and 80s music. All of it... Even disco.
Was a great time for music and innovation. You hear a lot of its influence today.
I'm serious... From Summer Breeze to Run DMC, Shock the Monkey to Still of the Night, Bee Gees to Metallica.
Great years.

Diamond, Cash, Nelson, Both Simons, Stewart, Scaggs, Hornsby, Springsteen, Clash, Fogelberg, Hall Oats, Duran, Money, England Dan, Fire Fall, Lightfoot, Chapin, Denver, Meatloaf, Collins, Santana, Fleetwood, Petty, Triumph, Van Morrison, Jennings, King, Carpenter, Elvis, Beatles, Who, Purple, Sabbath, Zepplin, Jackson, Moody Blues, Clapton, Devo, Cars, U2, Pistols, and everything in between.

What a fantastic time for music... I didn't even scratch the surface of what came out in those decades. A concert was the greatest show on earth... Lost somewhere between the Circus and the Cell Phone.

My only regret is I can't live it again. Then I realize I do... I hear it in almost every "new" song today.

This is the worst thing I have ever read. You stick up for 80's music by listing 60's & 70's artists.

My personal favorite:
"England Dan" but not John Ford Coley.

Frank Sinatra was also active in the 80's. Neither one of these Franks was a product of the 80's.
Slayer was and is more typical of that fucked up decade.

Tangerine Dream was prolific during the 80's, that was when I discovered them (late to the party). Of course there are exceptions to my 80's music sucks argument.

This is good, now I know the grading curve, we can have a frank open and honest troll fest.

metal... much like JAY.. is an acquired taste.. i like some metal, some being the word...

but your music is so much better right... why cant ppl just like what they want without the superior police telling everyone else how shitty and inferior they are.
