Its hard to compare considering this was a lockout shortened season. I heard somewhere that statistically the 2013 Blackhawks are in the top five (or something like that) teams of all-time.</p>

They had a terrific season and yes, broke records, but again all within a shortened season. I think it's one thing to be the best team in 2013, another to claim they are a top five team of all-time in a lockout shortened year.</p>

Personally, I think comparing the previous Cup winning team is easier to do and gives us a starting point at least. IMO, the 2010 team was better lines 1-3, worse in the net, about the same on defense... and I considered that team the best "team" to win the Cup in the salary cap era.</p>
