Except they haven't discovered it...

They've only discovered it's effect on other objects through GRAVITY.

Well, that's just a guess. They reported that the planet is 10-20 times farther out than Pluto, is a gas planet and is about the size of Neptune. Like many, that's a head scratcher to say they detect it's gravitational pull.

Pretty much. Based on what they see in other objects then a planet the size outlined would create those affects. So, the math makes it pretty damn likely it's there, now we just gotta get eyeballs on it.
