Why is Frolik out anyways? Flu? That damn flu is making it's way through the dressing room of a lot of teams right now.

Strong game from Toews/Stalberg/Hossa.

Stalberg actually had some strength on the puck and wasn't taking dumb shots, nice to see. Nice of him to pot the gift from Toews as well.

Brunette with two chance to elevate a puck just a little bit to score and couldn't......... /facepalm

Kaner another good game.

Carcillo.... had to love him confronting Iginla after the 1st period and telling him never to stare Kane down like that again. Love his crashing the net and him sacrificing his face again to potentially block a shot from the right circle when Crawford was down and out.

John Scott and Duncan Keith were equally bad tonight.... yes that is a serious slam on Keith.... WTF? Scott should never cheat or pinch, I don't know why he did tonight. Scott has been good the last 5 games just being a stay at home D-Man don't know why he tried to change that tonight.

CRAWWWWWWWWWWWWW! The score really doesn't dictate how well he played. Crawford was awesome tonight.

team defense was bruuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuutal and not one of our blueliners stood out at all. Keith was horrible.

Bickells is losing it. He was on his ass all night and taking his sweet time getting up. Soft soft soft soft!! What's up with that guy? He is playing like he wants out of Chicago. I can't stand when players lay around and half ass back to their feet when they are certainly not hurt. It's uninspiring.

Anyways. No one really had a stand out game besides Toews (lot of guys looked like they left their energy in Vancouver). Chalk it up as a bad one and move on. Tomorrow won't be easy. 3rd road game in 4 nights? Never easy. Rested Oilers team looking for revenge? Not easy. Not going to be an easy game at all.

P.S. Not blaming the loss on Goalkeeping at all but Emery should have started this game and Craw tomorrow. Emery has a good record against the Flames but I understand riding the hot hand...just in this case I would have rotated the other way. Might not have made any difference though the defense tonight was just miserable.

Not impressed. I think Q should have pulled Craw after the third goal. Not that it was all his fault, but to wake up the team. Keith had an abysmal game, last game he was excellent and this game he was shit, what happened between the two games? And agreed Bickell is quickly loafing himself out of a spot on the roster, absolutely useless. The Toews line was the only one that looked good.

Defense needs to get tighter. So far the bounces has gone the Hawks way, tonight they didn't and a good defense might have saved the game.

So far .500 on the road trip. Go bury the Oilers and keep on trucking.

It's just frustrating to finally have 2 proper lines put together that can score then the 3rd line to fall flat on it's ass while no real shuffling of that line has taken place but a few slot rotations here and there.. It has had it's good days while the top 2 lines were being fucked with (not great but good). Now it has gone to shit over the last couple weeks? Makes no sense. I want to see one game where all the lines are clicking at the same time!!! Bolland hasn't been at his best since returning (obviously) but he wasn't too shit hot in the few games before he was injured either. Frolik was missed tonight as much as Seabs was. We can talk about Frolik as not being the offensive weapon we all want him to be but he is a damn fine defensive forward. Bickell seems to be failing on all fronts which is just fucking sad because he does have the tools but there is something not right about him. He almost seems like a guy that Q can't coach and no one can get the best out of. He shows these amazing flashes of potential when he is on his game but then turns to absolute shit when he has a bad game...and it carried over for weeks. The benching obviously hasn't done much for him. Not sure what you do with Bickell. I was never sold on Olesz either.

3rd line is just right weird at the moment. The other lines are doing their jobs. 3rd? It looks weird again and not sure what it is. Could be Bickell I don't know. So hard to watch a guy with potential not reach it.

...Crawford was awesome tonight.

Have to seriously disagree on this; he was average at best. Should have stopped at least two of the five goals. My confidence in him is waning. He's looked a bit shaky lately and has seen his GA and SV% go up. I agree with most of the rest of your post, tho...

Ironically Olesz both scored a goal and scored in the S/O in the hogs win last night. Go figure.

I like the players took the blame.

I kind of agree but then you have games like Vancouver where he absolutely stood on his head.

This is a big key if the Hawks want to be Cup worthy. You know what you're going to get from the big guns.

Bolland ya never really know until playoffs.

Maybe Toews was returning the gift Stalberg gave him in Van

Olesz isn't coming back anytime soon. He cleared waivers, and the Hawks aren't going to expose him to reentry waivers and risk having to pay half his salary to play elsewhere. He will be called up if there is an injury and the Hawks don't have a guy for the spot, which would make him an injury call up, and waiver exempt.

PMX, do you ever make a post anymore that doesn't involve Bolland or Stalberg? One guy you constantly trash, the other guy you constantly suck off. Get some new material, would ya? You've been posting the same shit for months. We get it. You hate Bolland, and you love Stalberg. Thanks for the meaningless stats. Always a treat.

I know you don't, but it gets old. Any time somebody has a gripe about a player, it's "WHAT ABOUT BOLLAND??!!!!". Any time somebody has a gripe about Stalberg, it's "BUT HIS STATS ARE BETTER THAN SO AND SO!"

On the subject of Bolland, he is playing hurt, of no fault of his own(again). I know somebody that was at the UC that saw him walking around in a walking cast a couple days after it happened. That shot he took off the foot was brutal, and he might have a slight fracture. He's also been saddled with Bickell, who has been fucking useless since about game 5 of this season. Enjoy blasting him while you can. I look forward to your disappearing act once the playoffs start and Bolland is a beast again...

K..thanks a lot for your great insight and constructive criticism.

I'll start ripping on Stalberg for no apparent reason, just to fit in with you and your pals - and get in line to blow Bolland. Seems he and a few others get their free pass for when they play like shit for stretches, but Stalberg or others have a bad shift and things get out of hand.

And keep trying to rip on me, I've heard about you and your Napoleon complex from others on here as well.

That walking cast was two weeks ago. It could be sore I suppose but I talked to him for a while after the Oiler game last week and he was fine. Walking fine, felt fine, ect ect.

It was tweeted all over the place about the walking cast. He had it for a few days. There is no doubt Bolland has the "jeckle-Hyde" syndrome. It's been in forte his entire career, along with the strange injuries. He has to produce for this team to be ulitmately successful. It gives the Hawks three rolling lines. Bickell or no Bickell.
