so put him back on the third line then. Having him on the fourth isn't helping anyone.

is Frolik back tonight?

team defense was bruuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuutal and not one of our blueliners stood out at all. Keith was horrible.

Bickells is losing it. He was on his ass all night and taking his sweet time getting up. Soft soft soft soft!! What's up with that guy? He is playing like he wants out of Chicago. I can't stand when players lay around and half ass back to their feet when they are certainly not hurt. It's uninspiring.

Anyways. No one really had a stand out game besides Toews (lot of guys looked like they left their energy in Vancouver). Chalk it up as a bad one and move on. Tomorrow won't be easy. 3rd road game in 4 nights? Never easy. Rested Oilers team looking for revenge? Not easy. Not going to be an easy game at all.

P.S. Not blaming the loss on Goalkeeping at all but Emery should have started this game and Craw tomorrow. Emery has a good record against the Flames but I understand riding the hot hand...just in this case I would have rotated the other way. Might not have made any difference though the defense tonight was just miserable.

Totally agree about Bick. No excuse for getting up that slow except for LAZY. Time for some bench time.

When Frolik is back, leave Smith in and sit his ass.

I guess I'll get in line to blow Bolland.

Yeah he has not played well recently. Last night he was a -2. Well he was a -2 compliments of Keith's turnstyle on the Stempniak goal and Leddy trying to pass through the skates of a fore checker. But I digress.

Too bad Q can't get how much Bolland sucks this year. Hope this link shows up, it's quality of competion faced by forwards with 5 or more games this season.

As far as relative strength for Hawks forwards on the PK, Bolland is the best forward. Want to take a guess on relative offensive zone starts to offensive zone finishes?

But he has no chemistry with Hossa. trade him now.

K..thanks a lot for your great insight and constructive criticism.

I'll start ripping on Stalberg for no apparent reason, just to fit in with you and your pals - and get in line to blow Bolland. Seems he and a few others get their free pass for when they play like shit for stretches, but Stalberg or others have a bad shift and things get out of hand.

And keep trying to rip on me, I've heard about you and your Napoleon complex from others on here as well.

I've actually defended Stalberg quite a bit, but nice try. I'm not trying to rip on you, you're just so predictable I find it comical.

And, Napoleon complex?

Do you even know what a Napoleon complex is?

Napoleon wasn't actually short. He was of average height at the time, around 5'6"

He didn't.

At least this game the Toews/Hossa/Stalberg line showed up. I think they stayed in Calgary.
