I missed the first - but it looks like they let them play all game - then call Kane's hit of the visor with less than 2min left? WTF kind of call is that?

Well that was a fucking gong show of a game.
Hayes..is looking fantastic
Shaw...nice game
Core showed up late in the game.
Really sucks when Kane ties up the game then takes a lazy penalty which eventually ends the game.
I am actually a little bothered by how the Hawks allowed the game to open up after Kane tied it. It's not a popular thing with fans and I know we had momentum but I personaly wanted them to play for the point and to not allow the game to open up for a back and forth offensive battle. I think that was a mistake. Tighten the defense and play out the last minutes for the point then deal with the extra in OT. This was an Eastern team no need to win in regulation...threw away a point in my opinion.
But meh..tough game to swallow the way it was lost.
gotta move on to tomorrow.
Officiating was iffy.. Hawks also got away with a few calls. But for the Hawks to have zero pp's? Gotta call that one odd also. Not going to be a fucking Canucks GM here though. One pp would have been nice though

And that call on Sharp. 4 Minutes? He hit him in the neck. And I saw no blood. And Giroux never even left the fi\riggin' ice.

Not to mention if you watch Sharps 4 minute minor he is being hauled down by Hartnell which is why there was a high stick.
Sharp was smacked right in the face with a stick, right in front of the ref he screamed play on.
The flyers are the most penalized team in the NHL. They have not gone a game all year without drawing a penalty. And tonight, not fucking ONE? And then after putting your whistles away ALL GAME for the most part you all that bullshit.

Thing that bothered me the most is Stahlberg going for a skate on Philly goals 3 and 4. I know he is producing on the top lines but he drives me nuts.
The one sided officiating was tough to swallow as well.
I'm very happy with the play of Hayes and Shaw. Both look like they belong in the NHL.

My favorite teams
I loved how the team D hung Emery out to dry. I missed the last portion of the 3rd (just caught Kane's goal before I took off) but Christ, Allah, and Odin we could have drafted Brian Boitano to skate tonight and it would have improved out play on the backend.

Hossa had a miserbale game. Back checking was bad and up front where he missed the net about 4 times on clear shots. I expect it from other guys but not Hossa. These are games where we need Hossa at his best.

Ask Stahlberg, he had a great view from the blueline. At least Hossa backchecked, maybe not effectively or physically, but he was in the play, not skating circles at the blue line.

So Stalberg should have assumed Hossa was just going to vacate his check and watch the puck...letting his check drive the net for the goal?

How about the fastest skater on the team just back checks and helps on defense realizing our number 7/8 defenseman and slowest skater is paired with a rookie playing his first game instead of skating circles at the blue line waiting for a pass.
