Was it called no goal on the ice? I didn't see them make a call either way.

The postgame show clearly showed the ref in the corner pointing at the net when the puck went in indicating a goal scored . So why and how can they change the call ? (Just to keep up their quota on bad calls) The replay appears to show Bickells stick being parrallel during his redirect.

I thought it was a goal too but I missed most of the postgame show.

It was definitely a good goal, his stick was parallel to his waist. No way it was over the bar.

I always want the Hawks to win, but I didn't really mind that they didn't, and same goes for the game against the Wangs.

On another note, why oh why is Sharp still a lock for the shootout? I love the guy, but he is pretty much useless in the SO.

I always call that he gets the second attempt and always call a no goal, and I'm ALWAYS right.

This goes back to the whole of last season as well, annoys the hell outta me.

That was the explanation given during the game by the ref and the homer annoucers.

yeah, i don't like him out there either. Probably because Toews is out, but even when he's in Sharp still shoots third.

Agreed TCD...I feel bad for Dr. Craw. 3 minutes away from a shutout.

That's happened more than a few times this year.

Oh I know. How many times has Craw played very well, been riding a shutout, and this happened:

you might want to find one that also says "Second Period" and "Overtime"

If I get some time, I'll try to make all of them. 1st, 2nd, last 40, 1st 40, Powerplay, penalty kil, special teams, offense, defense, team D, Goaltending, Overtime, and of course, "The whole bloody game"

I would agree with that other than goaltending. If it wasn't for Crow, we don't even get a point. He's been hung out to dry far too much this season.

That was one of the worst 3rd periods of the season.

Bickells goal should have counted though. Soon as the officials fucked us I new the Wild would tie it up. Funny that it's Bickells penalty which the Wild scored on.

But...team in general played like dung in that 3rd period. No one gets off scott free...accept Crawford...who deserved better.

Team PP was horrible this whole game also. If that were a playoff game I would have thrown shit.

Funny think is as soon as Bickell went to the box I knew the wild were tying the game.

Agreed, I'm not sure I could be happier with his play heading into the playoffs.

Not to all the so called "experts" sitting in their arm chairs. Crawford was excellent on both PK's. Making at least 4 great saves the first one and two just before they scored the tying goal.

I don't think they wanted to win last night. Sharp and Stahlberg in the shoot out? Seriously?

Just like tomorrow another meaningless game.

No Toews or Bolland.

In all fairness, there've been games by both Dr. Craw and Emery in which they've tanked; not many, but 1-2 each max. But I do agree with You/RK and have said multiple times this year that Craw and Emery, while not perfect, are not the fucking issue. The D and special teams have bailed far more times than netminding.

I don't think the next game is worthless. Of the 4 possible opponents (Nashville, LA, SJ, and Phoenix), SJ is the only one in which we have a .500 record. LA, Phoenix, and Nashville we're .333 against them all: 2-4-0 against Nashville, and 1-2-1 against both LA and SJ, with the OTL coming in the shootout. Now, I don't count the shootout losses because they don't apply in the playoffs--hence the .333 record.

Now, for SJ to win it, they have to win their game and Phoenix has to perform worse than a point in one game and a ROW game in the other. That's long odds to hope to get 6th against a team in which we were only marginally better than all of Nashville, LA, and Phoenix. Further, We were able to pot 5 in regulation against Rinne--we've not had the same luck against Quick, Smith, ot Niemi. And lastly, how does Nashville compare to all three of those teams in terms of physicality?

Honestly, I would say that in light of all of that, the odds that we get SJ coupled with the consequences and our record if we don't, We might as well try for 5th--if for nothing else to drive a point home against the Wings.
