He looked brutal in the first half of the game, like he was way out of his league, at both ends of the ice. The last half of the game was much improved, I think we all saw the potential of his offensive game during the last half. Another thing I thought while watching him was that he really needed to improve his foot speed, and keep his feet moving, throughout the entire game.

That said, it's pretty obvious that everyone on the Hawks were trying to feed him his first NHL goal... so I'm not sure I would say the puck was following him, I saw it as if they were just forcing plays to him so he could get an opportunity, most of the time the puck was stripped from him but he did get a few shots off (one of them was a really good chance, just lacked finish). In the third period, I thought he showed he had a good sense of vision and playmaking ability.

Too small of a sample size to really judge him, but he was OK after he settled in.

On another note: Handzus had three assists last night... I think they should give him another game between Sharp and Kane.

Basically I agree. The only reservation I have is his speed. For example his dish to Kaner last night was great but that happened around the blue line (?) and then I never saw him make it beyond the blue line for puck support but luckily it wasn't needed coz Kaner was awesome. But whatever, it certainly can't hurt for these final garbage games or even another test-run when the 1st Rd. starts.
