Some good work by LeBlanc in Saturday's game/victory. No pts. for him in Sunday's Team USA 3-0 victory over Germany. Even though he's been used in a lower line, more shut-down role he's been averaging really decent TOI mins so far and it will be interesting to see this upcoming week what happens with his TOI or even how often he gets to play now that the final roster spots for Team USA have been set and they have arrived in Helsinki as of Sunday---T.J. Oshie and Galchenyuk. I can't imagine a scenario where those two aren't given every opportunity to succeed at the World Championship.

Oops. My bad. I bookmarked this Hockey Prospectus article back when LeBlanc was signed but then forgot to post a whole batch of bookmarks until recent cleaning. Still a worthwhile looksee IMO because there's some brief but good observational critiquing of LeBlanc's game by Corey Pronman who's opinion I always find very sound in evaluating prospects across the globe.

Agreed. It's great when you don't have to spend any energy indoctrinating them and they just instantly shrug off their lifelong fanboy affiliations no? Yes, I'm giving you the side-eye KHayes, JHayes, Calnan, and Johns---WhoTF knows who they're rooting for at this juncture! :icon-lol:

ETA: Actually I take some of that back, I think we all may know exactly who Johns is rooting for.

^^FYI, he's referencing the fact that nerves won out on the type of pitch he would use in front of 30K attendees when he was slated to throw out the first pitch at the Twins game last Wednesday.
