Ridiculous paranoia with the new CHL European goalies draft ban that goes into effect in 2014. It would still be assbackwards IMO but I could probably abide it if Hockey Canada wasn't being a collective of hypocritical douchebags about it all and were banning every position but since they're clearly trying to have it both ways I say **** 'em. So they don't like the Canadian goalie prospect pipeline and their braintrust solution is to ban new ones from being drafted into the CHL beginning in 2014 and just allow the ones who are currently eligible to play to continue to fulfill their eligibilty period but they have absolutely ZERO fucking problem allowing other Euro, "sexier hockey", more Canadian Dollars-making position players to be drafted and play indefinitely. GMAFB. You bet your sweet ass they won't put a draft ban in place for the Yakupovs, Landeskogs, and Maattas of the world and why? Because these fucking high-scoring or blue chip elite skill kids fill seats and sell jerseys to the CHL fandom faithful along with "good Canadian boys".</p>
