Disagree, he has good hockey sense, something that can't be learnt. The things he is lacking, mainly strength can be worked on. It's his first year as well and young. Send him into off-season with a work-out regiment and he'll return stronger and will take the next step. Guaranteed.

No scoring and no real size. he's about the size of shaw with none of the skill. If he was bigger he'd be a killer 4th line center but alas he isn't big he actually has 21 points more than I thought, maybe a 3rd line guy but Q seems to think Bolland is only a 3rd line center

The Pens game tonight (3-2 from 3-0 ) proves you don't need fantastic goal tending to stay alive, and usually Crawford can provide solid if not stellar netminding.

Where he comes off it is his immaturity - every time I see him break his stick over the crossbar the other team scores a goal shortly after. His head is still in the last mistake. The message his behavior sends to the rest of the team is "it's their fault". That won't work at this level and if he doesn't get that real quick he won't be around the NHL long.

I look to see Emery in goal Saturday, not because he's better but because he's more of a team player.

When a goalie reacts after a goal with anger like that, the message isn't "it's your fault" The message is "It's my fault. I let you down"

now when a goalie throws his arms in the air, THEN he is blaming his Defence.

If Emery is in net, then I won't expect much.

He doesn't have a single elite trait that pushes him into the top six category. He has a terrible shot, very average hands, average vision, doesn't hit, and is an ineffective forechecker. All he really does is think the game well. He has third line center written all over him, and that's being kind. Bolland is better than him in pretty much every category.

Hawks aren't done but the 8% chance doesn't bode well for them.

Sucks but for a NUMBER of reasons this series has just blown shit.

It has been. The whole playoffs has sucked so far too.
