I didn't say they played a perfect game, I still thought we outplayed them in the 1st period. 6 shots in 20 minutes isn't good, although the Hawks gave up the puck a few times, I thought as the game went on they carried more and more possession and quickly took it back when they did lose it.

So much arguing, shot taking, and animosity after a Blackhawks' victory..... lol

It's funny that people relish a Hawk win more to say "TOLD YOU SO, YOU'RE WRONG, HAHAHAHA **** OFF" than "HAWKS WIN! GREAT GAME!" Anyways...

Great game from the boys. Solid effort all around, aside from Hammer's figure skating act on that one goal. Mistakes that were made were generally covered over by great plays made by another player. A solid team victory at every position.

P.S. Keith needs shooting lessons, or his eyes examined. One of the two... He needs to take a couple hundred shots at each practice until he consistently hits the net. It's absolutely brutal. The one he mailed over the net from the hash marks, on a perfect fucking pass, right in his wheelhouse, had me wanting to throw my remote at the TV. He doesn't have to pick a fucking corner there, he just needs to hit the net!

Its the same way after a loss but the other way around. Pretty Bi Polar.

Keith just needs to pull his head out of his ass in general. He makes poor decisions, doesn't hit the net, and all around just isn't playing very good and hasn't for quite a long time. Go back to the basics, and do the things that earmarked you as as a top D man in the NHL.

I don't buy that at all..... Shit? Come on. Even when he's playing poorly, he's still a top pairing defenseman.

He had a pretty brutal season last year, and still put up 45 points. He's having an average season this year, and he's at 35 points and is a +10. He was awesome for four seasons prior to last season's down year. Most defensemen would kill for a "down year" of 45 points.

I was considering using "average" instead of "shit" I suppose it's just "shit" compared to what we expect after his Norris year.

and he had 45 points last season, and a -1 ranking, and to add insult to injury, showed that he can turn it on when he wants for three games in the playoffs. Points aside though, it's lazy bonehead plays that we all saw in his first 2 seasons here, that he is making again. I don't feel comfortable when he has the puck anymore.

honestly, I think Keith was our #3 defensemen last season depth wise. He's #2 this year.

I may be one of the very few Keith supporters, I think he's having a fine season -- but lately he has struggled I will admit. Not comparable to his Norris season, but I still think he's a top pairing defenseman and the positives far out-weigh the negatives. He's worth the risk.

Rex, I would assume you think Campbell was our #2 last year. He was in a different role, I don't think you can even compare the two. This year Campbell has 47 points and he's a minus-6, if he had been allowed free reign offensively in Chicago I bet he would have had a significantly lower plus-minus too with more points. That's what you sign up for when you give a defenseman the keys to the offensive end. Keith had an off-year last year, but this year he is right where I expected him to be.

meh, I need my scapegoat since I hopped on the Stalberg train. I still don't think Keith is half the defensemen without Brent Seabrook.

I think both of them compliment each other very well. When Q splits them up I cringe.
