Well your's is the first time I have heard any reference to this Draft being weak. Yeah, there were always only a few stud Forwards projected in even the Top 10 but after that I've only ever read that basically 1-36 is overall pretty solid in terms of NHL projection with a heavy slant towards D (not like the 2008 D class though). Did something happen with the mid-term rankings for N.A. and Europe in January that changed this?

Your on the ball with it... Its just that it isn't favoring forwards as much and a lot of teams would love to have scoring help.... And as we all know, defenseman take years to develop. You don't want to just throw them out there right away and expect immediate success.

If you are looking for a top scorer, there's a couple (and one of them I KNOW is a Russian), this upcoming class is definitely not your draft.

Bolland I don't think is that talented. Ladd made him look good all those years. He's a great shutdown centerman and that's where he should stay.

Disagree 100%, not that it matters.

Stuart rumor is false.

Heard that as well.

Guys the guys in Minny are mad about Schultz leaving. Totally shocked by the trade...

O.O wow..... Guess Minny's now a seller.

lol, it's fine if you disagree. Pretty damn sure the Hawks brass thinks the same thing I do, or we would have seen Bolly get a chance at some point in the last 60 games...

That's why I said my opinion doesn't matter lol. Regardless, check the his stats on the top 2 lines. Maybe you'll change your opinion.

Oh I am not talking about rushing any of the 2012 D prospects AT ALL---just always read that it's a very, very solid class so to me it's win-win for pretty much any team in terms of their 1st Rders this year. Down the road it seems like a majority of teams might have a good, solid piece. That's a deep Draft to me.

Clearly Yzerman's loading up on the 1st and 2nds, heh. God, it must have been so awesome to train under Holland.

Eh, again we can debate forever. Never know, I've been quite wrong before.

Schultz I'm hearing is quite shaken up by the trade. He heard about the trade from the Oilers twitter before Wild even told him. Wild players are really upset.

With it being very D heavy, I can understand why as he has not much depth at D.

The Schultz-Gilbert deal may be a play to get Suter in free agency.

Leave it to Jaeckel for some erroneous reporting.. saying "Oduya to Chicago is done"

Nothing is done.

Keith Aulie (TOR) for Carter Ashton (TBL)

Good trade for both teams.
