Where's McgIness in there?

Karpotsev? Too soon?

considering he's dead.....no not too soon.

But Ray Bourque is ahead of Lidstrom, at least for me. Bourque played on average teams for most of his career.

man i love Steve Poapst!! In NHL 2K2 they forgot to change his head model from generic beta build faces.... you can tell not only by how it is of low rez quality, but also in mirrored text there's a programmer's note-to-self saying "NO PIC" hahahaha i shit you not it is fucking awesome (at least for a nerd like myself)

I LOVE ME STEVE NO PIC POAPST

Out hit 30-18

FO% 39%-61%

SOG 39-26

And probably the best quotes so far were Maclean in his presser...

"I thought we chased the Blackhawks around pretty well for 30 minutes at least".

"For a little while I thought Kane and Hossa had their own puck on the ice and wouldn't even let us play with it for a little while"

This team can beat anyone if they play with heart and desire. Please CONTINUE tonight!

Solid effort, gatta say this is a the most complete game I have seen from the Hawks this year with being mostly call ups. I am very very happy with the future of this team. they were flying as soon as the puck hit the ice. I think Ottawa took us lightly and it backfired. Kane and Hossa have taken over like true leaders would. Sharp does not look 100% wondering if that wrist is still a bother. Emery's most complete game I have seen in an Indianhead, he stood on his head after that bad goal he let in...speaks volumes. If we can win one more game from this road trip, its a huge success being the shap they are in. PP like mentioned is working, I wonder if Kitch is just moving his lips and Smith is really the one talking behind the bench. Great win!

Four of 22, but I get your drift. It's nice to see the kids contribute.

I'd have to say this was a effort for the Vets though. Kane, Hossa, Bickell, Sharp all had very good games and had the puck on thier sticks a good portion.

Without Toews this might have been one of the most complete games all year. And I don't think anyone took the hawks for granted tonight.

Tivo'd the game but couldn't help listening to the game on the Radio. Maclean's comments make me want to watch the game now just to see Kane and Hossa handle the puck tonight.

Lehner kept the Sens in the game.

Off the top of my head, 9 solid scoring chances. 3 breakaways, Kane, Shaw and Sharp and a penalty shot, Sharp. Kane set up Hossa, once, and Brunette, twice, with open nets. Hossa hit the post, once, as did Hayes.

Thought Oduya looked great for only his second game with the Hawks, solid D in the Hawks zone and not rattled when being pressured by forecheckers or chasing down the puck with a Sen right behind him; looked great carrying the puck out of the D-zone; and the pass to Sharp for his breakaway from the Hawks goalline to the Sens blueline, pretty amazing.

I tend to agree... one thing that bugs me with Oduya is that he doesn't seem confident in his positioning... he's always really fidgety. Other then that I really like his stickwork and compare him to a far inferior Lidstrom in that regard.

Oduya is fighting for a new contract. I don't want to give him a raise on his 3.5 million to be our #5 defensemen.

Physicality/hits don't matter... cite this one game.

Ugh...

I was just pulling random stats out. several of the best performances this year we've been seriously out hit.

Notice I pulled the face off stat out there too? We were creamed tonight.

Good. The better he plays the better chance we have to make the playoffs!
