BTW: Paying a goalie 6 mil does not win you the cup.... please stop doing so many drugs acco.

Which will be demonstrated with the Rangers not going anywhere in the playoffs.

Except for the fact that Lundqvist is actually either THE best goalie in the world or 2nd best. Which cannot be said for Miller/Huet/Luongo/DiPietro/Kiprusoff/Hiller.

Only other goalie in the league that deserves a huge salary is Pekka Rinne.

So basing an opinion on someone that people may or may not agree on, consists of me doing drugs????....I think any fan of the game not a team would see it other wise, I am not saying to dish out 6 million to a player. But if you want to talk drugs....what about the $$$ the Hawks dished out for Huet, Campbell, Olez, Forlik. Are they worth that contract......I think not. So to assume that Im taking drugs over a comments that I post in here that many other not Chicago Blackhawk homers, would see it other wise. I just see it as what I see it. Oh and by the way, your goalie that you say is not worth his contract just had his second shut out in a row and is playing with a team worse then ours. But your to fucken trapped in your own two cents on bashing other comments and relying on fucken break posting records at 8,144 Wow! do you work! Congrats on being the posting champ no life.

I fully stand by and support Campbells contract, and always will. At the end of the day, we don't win a cup without Brian Campbell

Would he have signed for less offered, I would have to believe so. He new we had a great team posed to win it all. I would have to agree with you there as far as him being a big part in winning the cup, He played a key part in the line when stopping the puck from being cleared while passing it to Kane for the goal that would be heard all around Chicago and Vancouver.

He signed here in a summer where we finished 10th in the West, so it's not like he knew we were going to win a cup. The contract day finished with three offers. 7m a year from San Jose (a cup contender) 7.4 from us, and 8 from Atlanta, so it's dumb to think we could have gotten him for less, and the "we are gong to win a cup" bargaining chip doesn't exist when you fail to make the playoffs.

and me saying "we don't win a cup without him" didn't mean assisting on Kane's Game 6 OT goal, it was more that we were down 2-1 to Nashville in the first round, and then Soup came back from his shoulder injury. We moved Buff off the D, and back to the wing, and he played over 20 min a night on the blueline going forward.

Fair enough, but as much as good he brought, he had his share to blame on many losses on give aways on the blue line on soft passes that left the other team score on shorties. My point is he is not worth 7 mil a year as much as you think he is, he has the luck of having played on great teams with great players around him. He is good but not 7 million good. Sorry M.O.

nobody is worth that money, maybe Crosby. Fact is, it's what he was worth on the market. It's on par with his offers, and we don't win a cup without him.
