You guys are probably right, actually. I think I drank the Kool-Aid on Yi a little too early.

Should the NBA do away with fan voting and allow the coaches instead to vote for ALL the players, including the starters?

If you are voting yes! :cheer:

Hey hey hey! What's that supposed to mean?

Who died and declared you James Naismith?

You don't think I have an eye to spot the guys who are in for a breakout year?

I only had fun with the voting one time when I got together with a bunch of friends and tried to get Shawn Bradley into the all-start game 10 years ago. Besides that, I haven't tried to manipulate the votes.

I'm still pretty sure Yi isn't the bust you and your goofy friends are making him out to be on this message forum.

Very soon, my boy Yi is going to get some quality minutes and when he does he's going to make you eat those words.

Then you won't be able to say things like that any more. The joke is gonna be on you.

Anything is possible, but I would be extraordinarily surprised if he is ever more than Raef LaFrentz or Austin Croshere in their prime, and doubt he even gets up to that level (ie big man who can stand in the corner and shoot the 3).
