Handzus should really only ever be a 3rd/4th line center at this point in his career anyway. And they have Black Aces up for a reason, no?

And the idea of it "not working out" is pretty smart to experiment with in a playoff game - when they have spent 48 games (as well as the last 2 years) creating, developing, molding everyone's role on this team.

When did Pirri become our savior, by the way? He's had opportunities to crack and stay in the line up the last 2 seasons and hasn't been that productive.

Yeah. To practice. Not to be used in games.

I have no idea either....I guess the organization needs to screw someone over, so they're screwing Pirri

No one's role is changing. Bollig has ridden the bench for half the season, so his role really wouldn't be changing either.

The correct Arkansas pronunciation is 'sumbitches', according to Webster's.

They had to bring in Brad Mills to take Pirri's faceoffs, and they went out and nabbed LeBlanc as soon as he was done playing college hockey. I'm guessing these are the last days of Pirri in the Hawks organization. Next year LeBlanc and Danault will be the top 2 centers in Rockford.

He's still signed for next year, and only 21....then a RFA..so he's definitely an asset

It's going to be interesting to see who's moved this summer.

I think he might go for a mid-round pick. Figure all the UFAs are gone.

The interesting one will be Bolland. Shaw and Kruger have pretty much made him superfluous, unless they bring him back as the #3 center, and make Shaw and Morin his wings. They'll need a one-year solution at #2 center - unless Danault shows up in September as Toews' clone, he's starting the year in Rockford with McNeill.
