My point on asking that (and yes, anyone else feel free to answer) is that anything that good for straights has to be good for the gays.

If holding hands is okay for straights, then it has to be okay for gays.

If kissing is okay for straights, it has to be good for gays.

I wasn't trying to label anyone a ***-bashing homo, just try and work the angle that if we hold ourselves as equal regardless of anything then if it's okay for me to kiss my wife in public then it should be okay for a *** man to kiss his male lover/mate in public, or two lesbian lovers/partners to kiss in public.

Now granted, I want to see two dudes kissing as much as I want to see the close-up shot of the dude's face in a porno (tell my why again do they always have that shot in all of them?), but if I'm allowed to do it, they should as well.

I agree, and that was what I was saying, it doesn't matter the make up of the couple, to me common sense applies when discussing public displays of affection. Holding hands, and kissing, not sucking face, are to me, acceptable.

Holy ****, I'll have to mark this day on the calendar.

Guess which finger I'm holding up bri.

See, I can do it too. You'll find there are many many many many many times I have stated that I did not know something or that I was wrong. Too bad other people would rather disappear for a while than do the same.

I like the idea of a more basic memorial if they are not going to spring for one that can include an image and bio of each person that was lost. A wall of rememberance.

However, a flag that is permanently at half mast would be neat too.

How about something similar to the nam wall? I dont like the idea of a bio for everyone, because I am sure some families wouldnt want that, but to be left in peace.

Combine it. A memorial wall like the 'nam memorial (as in the names randomized so you have to look though a 7 buttloads (or one shit-ton, for those on the metric system) to find a specific name), with a US flag on top of it permently half-masted. Flanked by the flags of other nations who had people lose their lives and or helped with the rescue efforts optional.

If someone doesn't want to submit their family member's bio and picture, then they don't have to. Just the name would be listed. But, I think a lot of people would love to see a permanent memorial to those innocent victims to 'put a face' on it along with the acknowledgement of that loss.

I like it. I don't know that space would be an issue so it could be several pieces in the courtyards of the new buildings. Shoot they could even put the famous cross in one of these spots. I am not against that cross being there. I am against that cross taking center stage and then not having much if anything else to commemorate those victims and emergency responders.

deleted due to being tired of everyone's Special person position of "My way is the right way, and your's is fucked."

Hey no problem here I think its utterly repulsive too. Not in the sense I get angry at it, but in the sense the thought of it gives me a negative physical reaction. I think its only natural, this is how I know *** people are not *** by choice, as I am incapable of "choosing" my sexual orientation, I am what I am.

Let's stay back on topic and end the derail.
